Abstract

Der mit Trockenmittel (5) gefüllten Trocknungskammer (3) ist eine luftgefüllte Vorkammer (6) vorgelagert; beide Kammern (3, 6) erstrecken sich in Strömungsrichtung über mindestens eine Teillänge des Fensters.
Die Vorkammer (6) verhindert beim "Atmen" des Fen­ sters - bei kurzperiodischen Druckänderungen beispielswei­ se infolge von Windböen - zum einen den unmittelbaren Austritt trockener Luft in die umgebende Atmosphäre und zum anderen das direkte Einsaugen von feuchter Umge­ bungsluft in die Trocknungskammer (3). Weiterhin bewirkt die Vorkammer (6) eine erhebliche Steigerung des Diffusi­ onswiderstandes für eine Wasserdampfdiffusion in das Trockenmittel (5) bzw. den Scheibenzwischenraum (1) hinein.
