Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent a moisture absorbing solution from being reduced and to carry out dehumidifying certainly by a method wherein a hermetically closed circulating passage is formed by using a porous sheet with water repellency and a moisture absorbing solution is heated.
CONSTITUTION: When a pump 14 and a heater 8 are operated to carry out the dehumidifying operation, a moisture absorbing solution is flowed into a moisture absorbing element 3 and cooled by a cooler 18. Therefore, the moisture absorbing solution absorbs moisture in air through a sheet 1 of the moisture abosrbing element and its temp. is raised by absorption heat as well as it's concn. is lowered. The solution issured from the element 3 is heated by the heater 8 and only the temp. is raised while the concn. is constantly maintained and a partial pressure of water vapor is reached to a condition higher than that of air in an outer side of the chamber. Therefore, said solution is evaporated and gasified in an evaporating element 4 to discharge moisture into air through the sheet 1 and it's temp. is lowered by air and it's concn. is increased. The solution flowing out from an evaporating element 4 is returned to the moisture absorbing element 3 and cooled by the cooler 18 and absorbs moisture from air in the room. Above cycle is repeated to carry out dehumidification.
