- This device consists of elements arranged in opposition on either side of the label and intended to curl the latter in a direction perpendicular to its plane, that is to say in fact arching it in the direction of its length to give it thus artificially a rigidity which it does not have by itself in this direction.

- the printed label is first of all bent progressively in the forced passage formed by the two bending guides, then on its arrival in contact with the pressure roller, its two raised edges. by the camber thus produced are gradually repelled by this roller until its part located directly under said roller is flattened because the longitudinal orientation of the camber prevents the label from switching between the two guides.
- These two combined actions generate two opposing, elastic pressure forces applied by the label's re-attachment forces to both the bending guides and the pressure roller.
