Definitions
- Such kiosks generally consist of a fixed kiosk, the front opening of which forms a sales counter is bordered by makeshift windbreakers (tarpaulin, plastic fabrics or the like), on or against which are arranged, even piled up the articles of sale and which give hold to the wind and / or can come off.
- makeshift windbreakers tarpaulin, plastic fabrics or the like
- Patent in the United States of America No. 2749577 in particular, describes a folding hut preferably made of plywood, having approximately the shape of a cube comprising a floor placed on the same floor, a roof, two side walls, a wall rear provided with an access door, and a front wall consisting of two elongated vertical panels each connected by hinges with a vertical axis to one of the side walls; these two panels are movable between a closed position in which they constitute the front wall and an open position in which they extend at an angle of 180 degrees relative to the closed position.
- a sales shop in particular a kiosk for the exhibition and sale of newspapers and similar publications, of the type installed on public roads and comprising a cell having a door and constituted on at least one part forming a facade, of elongated vertical panels articulated to said cell by hinges with a vertical axis and movable between a closed position, in which they determine a united external surface integrated with that of the rest of the body of the cell, and an open position
- shop characterized in that, in their open position, the elongated panels delimit and protect a display space
- the cell has the general shape of a vertical cylindrical tube and has a shelf for solidarity of the body of the cell by being arranged inside the body of the cell, at the level of the facade which can be released or closed by the articulated panels, and extends onging horizontally and laterally around the interior perimeter
- This arrangement perfectly ensures the protection of newspapers which can be housed in a display space enclosed between panels integral with the structure of the shop, which can also be closed so that the closed surface of the shop is uniform; moreover this contributes to the aesthetics of the latter both in the open state, where no additional or disparate display element is visible, nor added, than in the closed state.
- the shop includes an additional display shelf, removable and retractable below the sales shelf, which can be pulled out horizontally between the vertical articulated panels in the open position and retracted inside the body of the cell when said panels are closed.
- the shop includes a removable and retractable horizontal awning, which can be pulled out between the panels in the open position and retracted inside the body of the cell in the closed position.
- the shop consists of a cell designated as a whole by the reference 1, resting on a base 2 and carrying at its upper part a movable transparent sphere 3 which can be used for a kinetic display with advertising motif or including the name of the items on sale in the store, such as "newspapers” or a generic name such as "press".
- the cell 1 itself consists of a vertical body of generally cylindrical shape 4 connected at its lower part to a base 5 in the form of a flattened circular bowl, integral with the base 2, and at its upper part to a roof element 6 generally in the form of an inverted circular bowl, on which the globe 3 is mounted and which bears on its around and about halfway up a gutter 7.
- the body 4 of the cell 1 consists of an opaque wall made of any suitable material, resistant to weathering, such as a metal, a painted metal, hard plastic, wood, etc. and has elongated vertical windows of generally rectangular shape 8 on its sides and on the front as well as a door 9 (fig. 2 to 4) located on the rear side.
- the front window 8 also includes a cutout 10 located at the sales counter for the items.
- the door and the windows are preferably made of a transparent material such as plexiglass or the like.
- a fixed and horizontal sales shelf 11 located inside the body 4 of the cell, that is to say below the limit of the front window 8, the cutout 10 of which can be closed by a transparent shutter (not shown) sliding in front of it.
- the door 9 is formed by a transparent panel sliding in slides of the conventional type, not shown, which can be arranged in the edge of the base 5 and in the edge of the roof element 6. As can be seen in FIGS. 2 to 4, this shelf 11 extends internally laterally along the inner wall of the body 4 and the side windows 8.
- the front window 8, 10 is closed using element 12 in the form of elongated vertical panels connected by hinges 13 (fig. 2 to 4) with a vertical axis to the rest of the body 4 of the cell 1. These panels can be brought into a closed position located against the front window 8, 10 and in which they determine a united external surface integrated with that of the body 4, and in an open position (visible in FIGS. 2 to 5), in which they delimit - and protect from the weather - a display space which will be described later.
- the cell 1 of the sales shop further comprises an additional horizontal removable and retractable shelf 14 below the green shelf 11 and passing through a slot (not shown) of corresponding size made in the raised front part 15 of the base 5
- the shelf 14 can be pulled out between the vertical articulated panels 12 in the open position and retracted inside the body 4 of the cell 1 before the panels are closed.
- a plan view of this tablet in the emerged state which has the shape of a rectangle whose two sides 15, 16 are rectilinear and parallel and whose two other sides, 17, 18 are curved, the side exterior 18 being concave.
- this retractable shelf 14 also slides in lateral guides carried by the panels 12.
- the cell 1 also comprises a removable and retractable horizontal awning 19 which can be pulled out in the open position above the shelf 14 (pulled out), through a slot (not shown), of appropriate size made at the bottom of the element roof 6, between the panels 12 in the open position and retracted inside the body 4 of the cell 1 in the closed position.
- this awning has the general shape of a rectangle whose two sides 20, 21 are rectilinear and parallel and whose two other sides 22, 23 are curved, the side 23 facing outwards being strongly convex so that in the extended position, it protects from bad weather (in particular from the rain) the display and sales space enclosed by the open vertical panels 12.
- the canopy 19 also slides in lateral guides carried by the panels 12. In its extended position, the canopy 19 projects horizontally beyond the front edge of the display shelf 14 over a distance corresponding approximately to the width of at least one person.
- the vertical panels 12 also have on their inner side, at their lower part, horizontal shelves 24, 25 in the form of circular sectors with curved sides 26, 27 and 26, 29, among which the sides 26, 28 reciprocally neighboring tangents, inside the body of cell 1, in any position. Naturally, these shelves 24, 25 pass through slots (not shown), of appropriate size, formed in the base 5.
- the additional display shelf 11 is removable and retractable in the body 4 of the cell 1 by means of two systems 29 with triple telescopic pull-out slide 30, one slide 31 of which is integral with a support 32 connected to the body 4 of the cell 1 and of which another slide 33 is integral with an angle 34 fixed below the shelf 14.
- the slide 33 slides in a third intermediate slide 35 which circulates in the slide 30 by means of balls or rollers 36.
- the canopy 19 is removable and retractable in the body 4 of the cell 1 by means of two systems 37 with triple telescopic gigone slide 38 of the same constitution as the systems 29 and of which a slide 39 is integral with a support 40 connected to the body 4 of the cell and of which another slide 41 is integral with an angle 42 fixed to the awning.
- the slide 41 slides in a third intermediate slide 43 which circulates in the slide 39 by means of balls or rollers 44.
- the supports 32 and 40 extend over the entire interior extent of the body 4 of the cell 1.
- the shelf 14 has, on each of its lateral and lateral sides 15 and 1.6, a horizontal slide 45 in the shape of a U in cross section which engages on an edge 46 of an angle iron 47 which is carried by the neighboring associated panel 12 so that, when the shelf 14 is out, the slide 45 circulates on the edge 46 of the angle of the panel and therefore maintains the latter in its open position.
- the canopy 9 comprises, on each of its sides 20 and 21, a horizontal slide 48 in the shape of a U in cross section, which engages on an edge 49 of an angle 50 which is carried by the neighboring associated panel 12 so that, when the canopy 19 is out, the slide 48 circulates on the edge 49 of the panel 12 thereby maintaining the panel in its open position.
- each panel 12 is kept in the open position both at its lower part and at its upper part respectively by the shelf 14 which has come out and by the awning 19 which has come out, which provides a safe and protected display and sales space bad weather between the panels 12 and the canopy 19, while when the shelf 14 and the canopy 19 are removed inside the cell 1 and the panels 12 are closed, a united cylindrical external surface is obtained for the whole of cell 1.

Description
- Fig. 1 est une vue en coupe en élévation latérale d'une boutique conforme à l'invention;
