Description

The invention relates to a lamp holder for motor vehicles with a base plate on which at least one lamp socket is fastened, the lamp socket having a first socket element provided with a bore for pushing the lamp through, with a second socket element, with a conductor foil on one side of the socket The base plate extends and is provided in the area of the seat of the lamp holder with a contact tab that can be bent out of the contact foil surface, the contact tab being pushed through a recess in the base plate and fixed to the lamp holder to form a ground contact point and a positive contact point.

It is known to use a base plate, usually made of plastic, as a lamp holder for so-called multiple lights on motor vehicles, and to fix a conductor foil to this base plate, which is provided by the known methods (for example, photographically) with conductor tracks leading to the individual on the lamp holder lead seated lamp holders and form contact points there. In the known types, the conductor tabs rest on rigid parts of the lamp holder, so that close tolerances must be observed during the manufacture of the lamp holder, in order to ensure that contact is actually guaranteed after the lamp has been inserted. It has been shown that contact can not be reliably ensured despite compliance with very tight manufacturing tolerances, since contact is interrupted in particular in the event of vibrations, if there is even a slight change in the position of the lamp.

The invention has for its object to provide a lamp holder, in which a reliable contacting of the lamps attached to it is possible and which also enables simple fixing of the conductor foil.

The invention consists in that the areas of the lamp socket, on which the conductor foil for forming the contact points, are designed to be resilient. Characterized the conductor film is pressed against the lamp under the action of a spring force at the contact points, so that the contact is made reliably even without observing close tolerances in the manufacture of a lamp holder.

In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the first mounting element is formed by a part (mass yoke) that is fixedly connected to the base plate, with a transverse strut that runs parallel to the base plate surface and resilient in the direction of the base plate, and by a second part, the second part (mounting arch) being included the hole for pushing through the lamp is provided and two support feet with which it rests on the base plate and includes a bore area to lie above the mass yoke, the mass yoke and the mounting bracket being designed in such a way that the top of the cross strut of the mass yoke in the bore area forms the lower wall, which runs somewhat horizontally within the bore contour. The cross strut of the mass yoke then forms a contact point when the conductor foil is bent around the cross strut. Since the cross strut extends partially within the bore contour, the insertion of the lamp causes the resilient or resilient cross strut to be bent so that the lamp can be inserted through the bore. This then pushes the cross strut in the direction of the lamp and thus ensures that the conductor foil is pressed firmly against the lamp.

In a further advantageous embodiment, a spring bracket designed in the manner of an inverted U with a long and a short leg is provided as the second socket element, which is fastened to the base plate with the long leg and whose short, free leg, seen in the insertion direction of the lamp, behind the bore contour of the first socket element comes to rest and forms a resilient stop for the lamp. Before the lamp is inserted, the contact lug is then guided over the area of the shorter leg, the foot of the lamp, which usually represents the positive contact, pressing the contact lug against the shorter leg after the lamp has been inserted, so that it yields somewhat resiliently and therefore causes that contact is also made at the second contact point under resilient action on the conductor flag.

If a clamping projection projecting below the contour of the shorter leg is formed on the frame, the contact lug is tensioned by sliding out the frame and lies against the second frame element. The setting sheet is advantageously locked in place on the base plate.

In a very advantageous embodiment of the invention, a hook is formed in the area of the spring clip for hanging the upper end portion of the contact tab. This makes the process of attaching the conductor foil very simple, since the contact lug can be passed through the base plate around the mass yoke and is then hung at the upper end of the spring clip with a recess, so that a preliminary fixation of the contact foil is possible as long as the mounting bracket final fixation of the contact flags are not yet fixed.

Advantageous developments of the invention are described in the further claims.

In Fig. 1, 1 denotes a lamp holder, which is shown only in sections and carries a lamp holder 4 according to the invention. The lamp holder 1 consists essentially of a base plate 2, on one side of which a contact foil 3 runs, which takes over the voltage supply to the individual lamp holders. In principle, the lamp holders have the same structure, so it is sufficient to describe the structure in more detail using a lamp holder.

The lamp socket 4 consists of a first socket element 8, which comprises the mass yoke 6 and the socket sheet 7. A second mounting element 5 is designed as a spring clip and is referred to below as follows: The spring clip 5 is designed in the manner of an inverted U and has a long leg 5a with which it is fastened to the base plate. This can be done in one piece. A second, shorter leg 5b serves in the manner described below as a stop and to form a contact point for an inserted lamp 9.

The mass yoke 6 has two feet 10 and 11, which are connected by a cross strut 12. Between the feet is a space for inserting a contact lug 14, which is designed as a lug that can be bent out of the contact foil 3. To attach the conductor foil 3, this is brought to one side of the base plate and can already be pre-fixed there, which can be done with the aid of cams 32 indicated in FIG. 2. Additionally or exclusively, the conductor film on the base plate can also be glued, heat sealed or z. B. be fixed by ultrasonic welding.

The contact lug 14 assigned to the socket element 4 is passed through a recess 13 (cf. FIG. 1) of the base plate 2 and placed around the cross strut 12 of the mass yoke in the manner indicated. On the upper end section 21 of the contact lug 14, a punched-out 34 is provided, with which this upper end 21 is hooked into a hook 20 protruding from the spring clip. A lamella 33, which protrudes into the punched-out portion 34 in the contact lug 14 and is part of the contact lug, presses against the back of the hook 20 and thus causes the upper end 21 to be pre-fixed on the spring clip 5.

The frame bow 7 has a bore 16, which comes to rest with a bore region 16a above the cross strut 12 and thus above the mass yoke 6 in the plugged-on position of the frame bow 7. Guide grooves 19 for locking cams 24 formed on the lamp 9, in which the cams 24 are guided during the insertion of the lamp 9, are introduced into the bore, usually two. The frame bow 7 also has two support feet 15a and 15b, which are adjusted in height so that the front bore area 16a is seated on the cross strut 12 when the frame bow 7 is brought into the position shown in FIG. 2. The bore has an opening 17 in the bore area 16a, which is closed by the cross strut 12 in the plugged-on position of the mounting bracket. This opening 17 creates the possibility of realizing a contact point, usually this is the ground contact point, which presses the contact lug 14 against the lamp 9 in this area under tension. Since the cross strut 12 penetrates the bore 16 with its surface in the manner of a secant when the socket arch 7 is attached, the lamp 9, the socket radius of which corresponds to the radius of the bore 16, can only be inserted by the cross strut 12 downward in the direction of the arrow M. is bent. For this purpose, the cross strut is so thin that it can perform a corresponding deflection. This bending stress then causes the contact lug 14 with the contact point 23 in the opening 17 to be pressed against the lamp and therefore forms the ground contact in a resilient manner.

If, after the pre-fixation of the contact lug 14 on the spring clip 5, the socket sheet 7 is plugged in, there is a profile of the contact lug 14 shown only in broken lines in FIG. 1, as can be seen in FIG. 2. The formed in the direction of the spring clip 5 clamping projection 18 on the frame bow 7 tensions the contact tab 14 in the hook 20 and causes it to lie smoothly on the surface of the short leg 5b. In the area of the socket sheet 7, the contact lug 14 initially runs over the cross strut 12 and thus partly within the bore 16, is then pressed under the cross piece connecting the feet 15a and 15b of the socket sheet and is guided along until the fold around the clamping projection 18. Since the clamping projection 18 is formed with such a length that it is below the contour of the shorter leg 5b is sufficient, the contact lug is stretched against the spring clip. The frame sheet is then, for example, glued, ultrasonically welded or fastened by screws at the support points on the base plate 2. The easiest way of fastening is of course latching, which is described in more detail with reference to the embodiment shown in the other figures.

After the mounting of the socket sheet 7 and the tension of the contact lug 14 caused thereby, the lamp 9 is inserted, which is shown in an intermediate position in FIG. 2. It is indicated that the locking cams 24 (only one shown) are guided in a groove within the bore 16. If the lamp is pushed further in the direction of arrow F, the locking cam 24 gets out of the contour of the socket sheet 7. Then the lamp can be rotated, which happens until it abuts a stop 25, which is formed on the clamping projection, and then not can be rotated further. In this area of the stop 25, a notch 25a can lead into the contour of the socket sheet, so that the lamp is pushed slightly forward against the direction of the arrow F.

By pushing the lamp 9 further into the final position, the spring clip 5 is also pressed in the direction of the arrow F, a spring force acting against the direction of the arrow F being generated, which then presses the contact tab 14 against the base of the lamp 9, so that there is the positive contact 22 is also formed under tension. The cross strut 12 has bent in the area below the opening 17 by inserting the lamp in the direction of arrow M and also produces a spring force there, so that both contact points 22, 23 reliably press the contact foil against the lamp. This ensures a very reliable contact over a long period of time. In addition, the fixing and pre-fixing of the film is very easy without special aids, so that the assembly can be carried out very easily. Damage to the socket elements, which are usually made of plastic, is also not to be feared, since when the lamp is inserted, the insertion path is limited by the stop which the glass cap of the lamp forms on the socket arch 7, and thus the bending path of the spring clip 5 Overload and twist protection. Based on the other figures, an advantageous exemplary embodiment is now described, which is implemented according to the principles explained with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2.

The versions are all shown without the version sheet 7 shown in Figs. 6 and 6b. Such a lamp holder is suitable for accommodating the lamps arranged in the rear area of a motor vehicle. In addition to the individual lamp sockets, there is a tab 6 on the base plate 2 which protrudes from the base plate at an acute angle and represents the location of the voltage supply connection 27 for the entire lamp sockets, as will be explained further below.

Ebenfalls zu erkennen ist der am Federbügel 5 ausgebildete Haken 20.As shown in FIG. 4, a spring clip 5 and a mass yoke 6 are made in one piece on each lamp holder with the base plate and the spring described above is designed to be resilient. In contrast to the mass yoke shown in FIG. 1, each mass yoke 6 of the type shown in FIG. 4 has a slot 28 below the cross strut, through which the contact tab 14 can be pushed and bent accordingly. The hook 20 formed on the spring clip 5 can also be seen.

The individual contact tongues 3a to 3e can be seen, which can be bent out of the surface of the film. The conductor tracks can be applied by photographic processes. A mass contact track and a positive contact track are formed on each conductor lug, and are each separated from one another by insulating tracks 35. The areas in which the contact points 23 and 22 arise after the bending of the individual contact tabs and the fixing in the manner described above, the contact tabs can be tinned, which is also indicated at these points in FIG. 5 by the bars.

On the upper end section of each individual contact lug, the punched-out 34 can be seen, with which the contact lug is hung in the hooks 20 of the spring clips 5 for fixing. The slats 33 then cause the bias.

25b ein, wodurch der Verdrehschutz sichergestellt ist.6 shows an enlarged illustration of a lamp holder in cross section, the holder bow 7 being shown in an attached position. The contact lugs 14, not shown, are guided in the manner described with reference to FIG. 2. To facilitate insertion, the groove 19 is designed to widen forward. After the lamp, which is also not shown, is inserted, the locking cams formed snap into the notches 25a and 25b, as a result of which the protection against rotation is ensured.

As shown in FIGS. 6a and 6b, the mounting bracket 7 is fastened in a snap-in manner, for which purpose it has latching lugs 30 on the feet 15a and 15b, which engage under corresponding snap-in projections 29 on the base plate 2 and enable latching.

The film section 31 for the voltage supply connection (cf. FIG. 5) is bent around this tab 26, in which case an appropriately designed, not similar forth shown multiple plug can be pushed on and thereby also ensures a fixation of the film and a reliable contact. To pre-fix the conductor foil in this area, punched-out portions 34a are also made in the foil, with which the end section of the area 31 of the foil 3 can be hooked in and thus pre-fixed. Overall, the invention provides a lamp holder in which the film can be attached without the aid of any auxiliary means, in which contact is made very reliably on each individual lamp holder, in which neither soldering nor wiring has to be carried out, and which is also inexpensive and easy to produce.
