Abstract

Zur Kühlung eines Vierventil-Zylinderkopfes für ei­ nen Viertaktmotor und insbesondere zur Kühlung eines über dem Brennraum liegenden, einen grossen Material­ querschnitt aufweisenden Teils des Zylinderkopfes ist zwischen dessen Auslass und dessen Einlass ein gerade verlaufender, zur Auslassseite hin trichterförmig ausge­ bildeter und sich in seinem mittleren Teil erweiternder Durchgang vorgesehen, von dessen mittleren Teil auf Höhe der Zündkerze eine seitliche, sich nach aussen hin konisch verbreiternde Ansaugöffnung abzweigt. Hier­ bei sind zur Vergrösserung der wärmeabgebenden Flä­ che die auslassseitigen Kühlrippen des Zylinderkopfes wesentlich tiefer ausgebildet als die einlassseitig ange­ ordneten Kühlrippen.
