Abstract

So that sliding doors can also perform a pivoting movement in addition to their normal translatory movement, an angle piece (12) is inserted between a horizontal and a vertical frame rail (10, 11). This angle piece (12) is given a prestressing opposite to the door weight by means of a tensioning screw (15). There is an axis of rotation (14) of the angle piece (12) in the vicinity of the angle corner (23). As a result of this pretensioning, the sliding door (2) remains in its exactly vertical position, even if the sliding door (2) is detached from the hanging member (16) in order to perform a door pivoting movement.

Description

The invention relates to a sliding door system with at least one sliding door that can be moved in a straight line and is carried by rollers on a ceiling rail, and which can also be pivoted about a lateral vertical axis.

Such sliding doors are usually actuated automatically by pulse generators, e.g. floor mats with electrical contacts or light barriers. For security reasons, it is particularly the case for buildings with heavy passenger traffic, such as hotels, shops, meeting rooms and the like. It is essential that such sliding doors can be opened quickly and reliably if necessary, for example if the building needs to be cleared quickly. However, such a rapid opening of the doors must also be possible if there is a power failure or the translational movement of the sliding door or doors is hindered or disturbed for any reason. To ensure this is already done been proposed to make sliding doors pivotable about a vertical axis in addition to their normal reciprocating movement, so that they can be pivoted from the inside using an increased pressure and thus opened.

Difficulties arise, however, with such an additional pivoting movement of a sliding door directed from the inside out, because after the removal of one upper door suspension point, the door weight causes the frame to twist, since there is no fixed bearing at the bottom, but only a bolt which engages longitudinally displaceably in the floor rail is available. As a result, the lower corner of the door facing away from the pivot axis comes into contact with the floor during a pivoting movement and prevents a free pivoting movement of the door in the opening direction. A larger play between the door and the floor is undesirable, as this results in drafts and heat loss when the sliding door is closed. On the other hand, such a massive and rigid frame construction of the door leaf that under the effect of the door weight there is no significant twisting of the frame, for reasons of cost and weight and because of the increased mass that can be shifted during normal operation.

pie mit der Erfindung zu lösende Aufgabe besteht darin, Schiebetüranlagen der eingangs genannten Art derart zu verbessern, dass eine ungehinderte Schwenkbewegung einer normalerweise translatorisch bewegten Schiebetüre in jeder Tür-Oeffnungs- und Schliesslage unter Beibehaltung eines minimalen Bodenspieles möglich ist.pie to be solved with the invention is to improve sliding door systems of the type mentioned in such a way that an unimpeded pivoting movement of a normally translatory Sliding door is possible in every door opening and closing position while maintaining a minimal play on the floor.

The invention with which this object is achieved results from the characterizing part of claim 1.

Due to the pre-tensioning of the door weight, the vertical frame part and thus the door axis of rotation maintains the exactly vertical position even if the one support and support point on the horizontal frame part connected to the castors is omitted due to the door pivoting movement. This enables the sliding door to be swiveled freely and without contact with the floor, if necessary, and not just in the end positions, but in any position of the sliding door, without the translational movement of the sliding door in the floor or ceiling rail being impeded during normal operation.

In the drawing, an embodiment of the subject of the invention is shown. Show it:
  • Figure 1 is a schematic plan view of a sliding door system with two counter-rotating sliding doors and two pivotable side door panels
  • Figure 2 shows a detail of the upper frame part with inserted angle, with which a bias can be generated

  • 4 shows a horizontal section along the line IV-IV in FIG
  • 5 shows a section along the line V - V
  • 6 shows a section along the line VI - VI in Figure 2 with a preload screw.

As can be seen from FIG. 1, the sliding door system contains two sliding doors 2, 3 which can be moved in opposite directions and which are guided at the bottom in floor rails 6 and at the top are each supported by two roller sets 9 and supports 13 by a ceiling rail 19. These two sliding doors 2, 3 can be moved in a straight line by a motor in the directions A, B in a manner known per se, so that the entrance opening can be opened or closed. In addition, in exceptional cases, these two sliding doors 2, 3 can additionally be pivoted about vertical axes in the direction of arrows C, D towards the outside of the building. To the side of the sliding doors 2, 3 there are two side wings 4, 5 at a horizontal distance, each of which can be pivoted about a vertical axis of rotation 7, so that in the open state they can assume the position shown in broken lines in FIG. 1. Normally, however, the two side wings 4, 5 assume their position drawn in full lines and are only opened when a ver larger passageway is to be created, for example in the event of sudden crowds of people inside the building, or when wide vehicles are to drive through the opening. The two side wings 4, 5 are in the normal position shown in full lines by spring catches or the like. held in such a way that increased pressure is to be exerted on these side wings so that they disengage and can move in the direction of arrows E and F into the position shown in broken lines. A pivoting of the sliding doors 2, 3 is therefore possible in any door position they assume, since the side wings 4, 5 are then also pivoted.

If the sliding doors 2, 3 pivot about a vertical axis, this has the effect that they hang out of the hanging member 16 and thus only hang on the vertical hinge band 8, which extends over the entire height, on the vertical frame part 11. The horizontal frame part 10 is suspended close to the two ends by supports 13 and rollers 9 on the ceiling rail 19. Due to the usually considerable door weight, however, the vertical frame part 11 tends to bend slightly, so that the sliding door 2 would assume a position indicated by broken lines in FIG. 3 if no countermeasures were taken. This deflection of the vertical frame part 11 cannot be prevented by the single bolt 30 engaging in the bottom rail 6, since it is in this is guided longitudinally. Thus, this bolt 30 located at the bottom in the longitudinal direction of the bottom rail 6 cannot assume a support function for the door leaf and also cannot prevent sagging, since it can move freely in the direction of the arrow G (FIG. 3).

In order to prevent the sliding door from standing on the floor during its swiveling movement required in exceptional situations and thereby obstructing a full door swiveling opening, a metallic, solid angle piece 12 is inserted into the horizontal, hollow frame part 10 and the vertical, hollow frame part 11 a preload is given in the sense that this preload is directed in the opposite direction to the door weight. A screw 14 or cylindrical bolt located in the vicinity of the corner region 23 of this angle piece 12 is designed as a horizontal pivot axis about which the angle piece 12 can pivot to a small extent relative to the horizontal frame part 10. A tension screw 15 according to FIG. 6 engages at a distance from the screw 14 both in the horizontal frame part 10 and in the end region of the horizontal angle piece 12. Your head lies against a shoulder 33 of the frame part 10. When this tension screw 15 is screwed into the angle piece 12, a pre-tension results in the sense that a force counteracting the weight of the sliding door 2 is exerted on the vertical leg of the angle piece 12. So that the contra-angle piece 12 turns the tension screw 15 can move around the screw 14 or bolt acting as the axis of rotation, there is an intermediate space 27 in the horizontal frame part 10 between a rib 33 forming the shoulder 33 and the angle piece 12 and in addition there are elongated holes 17 in the horizontal frame part 10 which are provided by clamping screws 18 are permeated. These clamping screws 18 are only tightened when the correct preload is set with the lag screw 15. This makes it possible with simple means that the vertical frame part 11 maintains its exactly vertical position even when the sliding door 2 or 3 with its bearing piece during a door pivoting movement out of the slot 26 of the suspension member 16 rigidly connected to the frame part 10 - Hangs and thus only hangs on the frame hinge 11 via the vertical hinge strap 8. As can be seen from FIG. 5, the suspension member 16 is formed from a tab 24 held in the horizontal frame part 10 by screws 28. Since the slot 26 is slightly inclined, the unhooking of the engaging bolt connected to the door 2 or the like can. done only by overcoming resistance.

The type of attachment of the hinge strap 8, both on the vertical frame part 11 and on the sliding door 2, can be seen from Figure 4. One part of the hinge band 8 is screwed into the nuts 20 of the vertical frame part 11 with screws 21. The other hinge part comes with screws 22 fixed in slot nuts 20 of a vertical profile rail 25, which holds the sliding door 2, which is preferably made of glass.

In order to prevent the sliding doors from being improperly pivoted out of the closed sliding door position in the direction of arrows C, D at rest, in particular at night, precautions have been taken which have the effect that the sliding doors can carry out a normal, translational movement, but then can no longer perform a pivoting movement. For this purpose, there is a securing rail, which can be inserted loosely and by hand into the bottom rail 6 and protrudes into a longitudinal groove in the lower, horizontal frame profile of the sliding door 2. This floor rail 6 is arranged sunk in the floor of the building. The optional safety rail lies on the bottom of the bottom rail 6 and has a length that is greater than the displacement of the sliding door 2 to ensure that pivoting is prevented even in the largest opening position of the sliding door. The securing rail is designed as an elongated rail with a U-shaped cross section and is preferably made of aluminum.
