Description

The invention relates to a rig for a sail board with a headsail. And with a main sail, the luff is attached to the mast and tensioned by a luff stretcher and the clew is held at the rear end of a boom enclosing this and attached to the mast.

In a rig of this type known from DE-OS 27 38 469, the mast is inserted into a mast pocket securing the luff to the mast and the boom in the region of its front third is provided with a crossbar which is fastened in a mast pocket on the mast. Between the. The fore-end is attached to the front end of the boom and the mast tip. The clew of the foresail is with one provided in which this is attached to a headsail sheet, which is guided around the mast and the main sail and is attached to the spars of the boom in the grip area of the sail hand. The well-known rig has a complicated structure and is difficult to handle, because during sail maneuvers the clew of the foresail has to be moved to the other side by special manipulations around the main sail and the mast.

The object of the invention is therefore to provide a more simply constructed and easier to handle rig of the type specified.

According to the invention this object is achieved in that the luff of the mainsail is secured only at the top of the mast and through the V orliekstrecker at the mast base, that the luff of the foresail versehen- with a mast pocket, in which the arcuately curved mast is inserted, and a luff is curious that the clew of the foresail opens an eyelet. has, which is guided on a traveler rail, which is hooked into an eyelet of the main sail in the region of the converging ends of its fore and leech, and that the clew of the foresail is provided with a leech stretcher attached to the mast foot. The rig according to the invention is simple in construction and can basically be handled just like rigs provided with a main sail, because in the case of sailing maneuvers the foresail strikes through the circular segment-shaped space between the mast and the luff of the main sail.

An embodiment of the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing, in the single figure of which a side view of the rig is shown.

The headsail 1 is provided with a mast pocket 2 which is closed at the upper end and into which the curved mast 3 is inserted. The foresail 1 is provided in the area of its sail neck with an eyelet 4 in which the luff stretcher 5 is fastened, the other end of which is fixed in a conventional manner to a fastening device of the mast foot. The mast pocket 2 of the foresail 1 is provided with a cutout 6 in which the front end of the boom 7 is fastened to the mast 3 in a conventional manner. The main sail 8 is provided at its S egelkopf 10 with a cap 9, which is mounted on the mast pocket 2 of the headsail 1 to the boom tip. In the area of the sail neck, the main sail 8 is provided with an eyelet 11 through which the luff stretcher 12 attached to the mast foot is pulled.

The mast 3 can already have a curved shape in its relaxed state, but it can also be curved by tensioning the luff stretcher 12.

The clew 13 of the main sail 8 is provided in the usual way with an eyelet and attached to the rear end of the boom 7.

The main sail 8 has an eyelet 16 in the area of the lower ends of the luff 14 and the lower tie 15, in which a so-called essentially triangular traveler rail 17 is held. The clew 18 of the foresail 1 is provided with an eyelet 19 which is guided on the traveler rail 17. Furthermore, the clew 18 of headsail 1 chterliekstrecker by an A 20 to the mast foot. The Achterliekstrecker 20 holds the clew 18 in a tensioned aft-leech and the Vorsiegels and is in strike-through of the S chothorns 18 by the between the mast 3 and the luff 14 of the main sail located gap loose.
