Definitions
- the invention relates to a head for a rod for gripping and rotating the bolt penetrated by a transverse pin of a clamp that can be attached to an electrical conductor, in particular an earth clamp, with a central longitudinal bore receiving the end portion of the bolt that traps the Ouer pin, at least one transverse to the longitudinal axis of the Longitudinal bore resilient locking member which engages over the cross pin of the bolt inserted into the longitudinal bore, and driving slots for the cross pin open towards the longitudinal bore.
- clamps that are to be attached to a conductor that is not easily accessible or possibly live for example clamps for connecting a grounding cable to a conductor
- the head of the actuating rod and the bolt are not inadvertently separated from one another, in a known actuating rod (DE-GM 1 848 643) the head is provided with two resilient locking elements which engage behind the transverse pin of the bolt when the bolt is completely in the longitudinal bore of the Head is inserted.
- These locking members are formed by two rollers which are supported by an annular spring and which are aligned in a diametrical arrangement on the two driver slots which receive the end portions of the transverse pin which project beyond the bolts.
- the disadvantage here is not only that the two rollers must run when inserting the bolt into the head and when pulling out over the crests provided at the two ends of the cross pin, since their plane of movement lies in the plane defined by the driver slots, causing damage to the Rolling and thus an increase in the operating force necessary to overcome the locking members or even a failure of the locking elements can occur.
- the maintenance required from time to time is also disadvantageous.
- the invention has for its object to provide a head for an actuating rod that is simpler and more reliable than the known head of the type mentioned.
- a second leg of the spring is preferably movably guided in the same plane as the first leg.
- This second leg forms a nose against the nose of the first leg, so that the cross pin is overlapped by two mutually facing noses, which is advantageous both in terms of the arrangement of the spring in the head and on the locking force.
- Both spring legs preferably have a pretension which tries to keep the two lugs in contact with one another.
- each lug can be locked in a particularly simple manner in its locking position by means of a sleeve which is movable, e.g. is rotatable, is arranged on the head and can be locked in a position closing the mouth opening of the guide bore, and preferably in a position opening the mouth opening.
- the head preferably has a second spring which is designed like the first spring and in one for movement plane of the first spring is parallel to the plane, in such a way that the central longitudinal bore runs between these two planes of movement.
- the one spring can then overlap one end section of the Ouer pin with its nose or lugs and the other spring overlaps the other end section.
- a designated as a whole with 1 head which is inserted into the upper end of an electrically insulating tube 2 and is rigidly connected thereto and together with this tube, a B e-tuschistsstange forms, by means of their terminals with a penetrated by a transverse pin 3 pin 4 of a can be recognized s electrical conductor surfaces, closed, open, and removed from the head, comprises, in particular Fig. l adaptt, a hollow cylindrical base body 5, which consists of a plastic.
- the end section of the base body 5 engaging in the tube 2 has a smaller outer diameter than the central section.
- the other end section also adjoins the middle section via an annular shoulder and has a larger outer diameter than the latter.
- a central blind hole 7 for receiving the bolt 4 connects to the insertion funnel 6 on the same axis.
- Two driver slots 8 and for the transverse pin 3, which are provided on diametrical points of the inner wall of the insertion funnel 6 and the blind hole 7, are designed as longitudinal grooves which are open towards the insertion funnel and the blind hole.
- two springs lo and 11 of the same design bent from a spring wire, are provided.
- these springs have two legs lo 'or 11' of identical design, which are parallel to one another and follow a curved central section and run parallel to one another. Following this last leg section, the two legs are bent towards one another and then again guided away from one another in an opposite curvature, as a result of which the two legs form lugs lo "or 11" pointing towards one another, which have a semicircular or similarly shaped profile.
- the free end section of one leg 10 'or 11' is arranged coaxially with the free end section of the other leg and is perpendicular to the plane of symmetry of the spring.
- the legs of the spring have a pretension which tries to keep the two lugs in contact with one another.
- the head has a guide slot 12 for each leg lo 'and 11'.
- the guide slots receiving the two legs of the spring 10 lie in a first plane running parallel to the longitudinal axis of the blind hole 7, the distance from this longitudinal axis being greater than the radius of the blind hole. This plane perpendicularly intersects the plane defined by the two driver slots 8 and 9. As shown in FIG. 2 in particular, the guide slots receiving the legs 10 'are open towards the driver slot 8.
- the guide slots 11 'accommodating the legs lie in a second plane parallel to the first plane, which intersects the driver slot 9, so that these guide slots are open towards the driver slot 9 and the blind hole 7 lies between the two planes.
- the free end section of each leg 10 'and 11' is guided in a longitudinally displaceable manner in a bore 13, which lie in the planes defined by the guide slots and penetrate the head 1 up to its outer surface.
- the head 1 and the bolt 4 can only be separated from one another if the lugs lo "and 11" are separated from one another to the extent necessary for the passage of the cross pin and during this movement of the lugs lo "and 11" from each other the in the end portions of the legs 10 'and 11' which are guided through the bores 13 emerge from the mouth openings of these bores in the outer circumferential surface of the head 1, the lugs 10 "and 11” can be locked in their locking position in which they abut one another by means of a locking sleeve 15, which is rotatably arranged on the central portion of the head 1, as can be seen from FIG. 1.
- the locking sleeve 15 which is made of plastic, has in its end section facing the tube 2 two radially resilient, diametrically arranged tongues 16 which are formed in one piece with the locking sleeve 15 and are separated from the adjacent wall areas by two slots, as shown in FIG. 4.
- the two tongues 16 each carry a nose 16 ', which have a semicircular contour when viewed in the longitudinal axis of the sleeve.
- the lugs 16 ' are constantly in engagement with an annular groove 17 in the head 1.
- the locking sleeve 15, which is provided with a knurling on the outside, has an inner diameter which is adapted to the outer diameter of the head center section, in addition to its end section which comprises the insertion funnel.
- a recess 15 ′ which increases the inner diameter, is provided at two diametrically lying points, into which the spring ends emerging from the bores 13 when the springs 10 spring open protrude.
- the two recesses 15 ' by a respective over about 90 0 extending inwards and against the larger inner end having a diameter and an open annular groove.
- the ring groove 17 of the head 1 has a depression 17 'corresponding to the shape of the lugs 16' at the points oriented in the locking position on the two lugs 16 '.
- the base of the annular groove is flattened by 90 ° with respect to the depressions 17 ', as a result of which two further depressions 17 "are present, into which the lugs engage in a force-locking manner in the unlocked position of the locking sleeve 15.
- FIGS. 6 and 7 largely agrees with that according to FIGS. 1 to 5 agree, which is why the corresponding parts are marked with reference numbers that are loo larger and the explanation is limited to the differences.
- two springs llo and 111 are inserted into guide slots 112 of the head lol, which are designed and arranged like the guide slots 12, the two legs llo 'and 111' of which also point towards one another and form lugs "and 111" which are in contact with one another under pretension.
- the lugs llo "and 111" are each formed by an eyelet, to which the end sections of the legs llo 'and 111' are bent.
- This difference compared to the first exemplary embodiment is due to the fact that the second exemplary embodiment does not have any device for locking the lugs llo "and 111" in the position in which they abut one another.
- the legs llo 'and 111' of the springs llo and 111 therefore do not need to have an end section guided to the outside through a bore in the head, since the head lol has no locking sleeve 15 or the like.
- a shape is therefore chosen that is particularly easy to manufacture.
- D a is not changed by the other nasal form the operation of the head and the latches formed by the spring leg, reference is made for the operation to the explanation of the first embodiment.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a head for a rod for gripping and rotating the bolt penetrated by a transverse pin of a clamp that can be attached to an electrical conductor, in particular an earth clamp, with a central longitudinal bore receiving the end portion of the bolt that traps the Ouer pin, at least one transverse to the longitudinal axis of the Longitudinal bore resilient locking member which engages over the cross pin of the bolt inserted into the longitudinal bore, and driving slots for the cross pin open towards the longitudinal bore.
In many cases, clamps that are to be attached to a conductor that is not easily accessible or possibly live, for example clamps for connecting a grounding cable to a conductor, have a bolt penetrated by a cross pin, which is inserted into the head of an actuating rod, with the aid of the clamp attach the actuating rod to the conductor to be detected and close it by turning the bolt or to open the clamp and remove it from the detected conductor. So that the head of the actuating rod and the bolt are not inadvertently separated from one another, in a known actuating rod (DE-GM 1 848 643) the head is provided with two resilient locking elements which engage behind the transverse pin of the bolt when the bolt is completely in the longitudinal bore of the Head is inserted. These locking members are formed by two rollers which are supported by an annular spring and which are aligned in a diametrical arrangement on the two driver slots which receive the end portions of the transverse pin which project beyond the bolts. The disadvantage here is not only that the two rollers must run when inserting the bolt into the head and when pulling out over the crests provided at the two ends of the cross pin, since their plane of movement lies in the plane defined by the driver slots, causing damage to the Rolling and thus an increase in the operating force necessary to overcome the locking members or even a failure of the locking elements can occur. The maintenance required from time to time is also disadvantageous.
The invention has for its object to provide a head for an actuating rod that is simpler and more reliable than the known head of the type mentioned.
Der Federschenkel bedarf nämlich keiner Wartung, und es ist auch keine Beeinträchtigung seiner Funktionsfähigkeit zu befürchten, weil die den Querstift des in die Längsbohrung eingesteckten Bolzen übergreifende Nase beim Einstecken und Herausziehen des Bolzens nicht über die Kuppe am Ende des Querstiftes hinweggleitet, sondern infolge der quer zur Längsachse des QuerstiftesThis object is achieved by a head with the features of claim 1, because its locking element is formed by the leg of a spring, that is to say it is an extremely simple component, and a high level of operational reliability is ensured even over long periods without maintenance. The spring leg does not require any maintenance, and there is no fear of impairment of its functionality, because the nose overlapping the transverse pin of the bolt inserted into the longitudinal bore does not slide over the tip at the end of the transverse pin when inserting and removing the bolt, but as a result of the transverse to the longitudinal axis of the cross pin
This also ensures that the force required to insert or remove the bolt into the head does not change, and thus the conductor when the head is removed after the clamp has been attached or when the bolt is inserted for the purpose of opening even after a long period of use, the actuator stanae is no larger than that of a new head.
A second leg of the spring is preferably movably guided in the same plane as the first leg. This second leg forms a nose against the nose of the first leg, so that the cross pin is overlapped by two mutually facing noses, which is advantageous both in terms of the arrangement of the spring in the head and on the locking force. Both spring legs preferably have a pretension which tries to keep the two lugs in contact with one another.
Good guidance of the spring leg and the nose formed by it is achieved in a particularly simple manner if the spring leg has an end section which moves together with the nose and which is guided in a guide bore running in the direction of movement of the nose. If this guide bore and the end section of the leg guided in it extend to the outer lateral surface of the head, as is the case in a preferred embodiment, then each lug can be locked in a particularly simple manner in its locking position by means of a sleeve which is movable, e.g. is rotatable, is arranged on the head and can be locked in a position closing the mouth opening of the guide bore, and preferably in a position opening the mouth opening.
Since the cross pin usually protrudes from the bolt on both sides, the head preferably has a second spring which is designed like the first spring and in one for movement plane of the first spring is parallel to the plane, in such a way that the central longitudinal bore runs between these two planes of movement. The one spring can then overlap one end section of the Ouer pin with its nose or lugs and the other spring overlaps the other end section.

A designated as a whole with 1 head which is inserted into the upper end of an electrically insulating
In order to be able to lock the
To accommodate the springs lo and 11, the head has a
When the
In order to separate the head 1 and the
Since the head 1 and the
In order to lock the locking sleeve in the ring groove in a force-locking manner, the
The embodiment shown in FIGS. 6 and 7 largely agrees with that according to FIGS. 1 to 5 agree, which is why the corresponding parts are marked with reference numbers that are loo larger and the explanation is limited to the differences. In order to prevent unintentional separation of the
D a is not changed by the other nasal form the operation of the head and the latches formed by the spring leg, reference is made for the operation to the explanation of the first embodiment.
