Ein solcher Staubsauger ist durch die US-PS 12 17 817 bekannt. Bei diesem Staubsauger ist das steife Saugrohr an den Ansaugstutzen angelenkt. Ein elastischer Saugschlauch ist teleskopartig in das Saugrohr eingeschoben. Das mit dem Saugschlauch verbundene Saugmundstück ist als Handgriff ausgebildet und wird bei in das Saugrohr eingeschobenem Saugschlauch mittels einer Schraube mit dem Säugrohr verbunden. Damit kann der Staubsauger mittels des Saugrohres bei Saugarbeiten geführt werden. Mit der unmittelbar am Gehäuse sitzenden Saugdüse können vor allem Wandkanten-und Ecken schlecht abgesaugt werden. Dadurch, daß bei dem bekannten Staubsauger das Saugmundstück mit dem elastischen Saugschlauch verbunden ist, muß die Bedienperson, wenn sie die Fußbodenkanten oder Ecken reinigen will, sich zum Fußboden hinabbeugen. Durch das Anlenken des Saugrohres an dem Ansaugstutzen ergibt sich ein zusätzlicher konstruktiver Aufwand.Such a vacuum cleaner is known from US-PS 12 17 817. Mit dem auf das Saugrohr aufgesteckten Saugmundstück kann man mühelos die durch die am Gehäuse sitzende Saugdüse nicht erreichbaren Stellen des Fußbodens absaugen. Indem man das Saugmundstück mittels der Haltebügel am Gehäuse befestigt, kann der Staubsauger mittels des.Saugrohres nach Art eines Bürstsaugers geführt werden. Beim Arbeiten mit dem auf das Saugrohr aufgesteckten Saugmundstück ist der Staubsauger als vollwertiger Bodenstaubsauger hinsichtlich Saugleistung und Handhabung anzusehen.
