Description

The invention relates to a mobile vacuum cleaner with a suction nozzle arranged directly on the housing and an additional suction nozzle, which is connected via a suction hose and a suction pipe to a suction port provided on the housing, the suction pipe being pivotally coupled to the housing and during suction with the one arranged on the housing Suction nozzle serves as a guide handle for the vacuum cleaner.

Such a vacuum cleaner is known from US-A-1217 817. In this vacuum cleaner, the suction hose consists of two flexible pipe parts that are telescopically pushed together. A third, rigid tubular part forms the suction pipe for guiding the suction mouthpiece. As the innermost part, this third tube part can also be inserted telescopically into the two flexible tube parts. At the end of the outer flexible tube part facing away from the suction mouthpiece there is a coupling piece which can be connected by means of a screw to an appropriately designed suction nozzle arranged on the vacuum cleaner housing. On the coupling piece and the suction nozzle, a clamping screw is also provided, through which the rigid tube part can be clamped both on the coupling piece and on the suction nozzle, so that there is a rigid connection between the suction nozzle and the suction nozzle, which leads the vacuum cleaner from the Handle designed suction mouthpiece from allowed. The additional suction mouthpiece is used to clean edges and corners or high places, such as door and window frames and the like. In order to be able to use the suction nozzle for such work, extensive adjustment work is necessary.

A pot vacuum cleaner is known from GB-A-800 202, the suction mouthpiece of which has two large casters on the side which can be connected to the suction pipe. In the area of the suction slot, the suction mouthpiece has two further smaller wheels. The suction mouthpiece is attached to the suction pipe so that it can pivot about the axis of the large castors. With the help of the rollers, the suction mouthpiece can be moved on the surface to be extracted without great effort. The housing of the pot vacuum cleaner itself remains in one place while vacuuming. In order not to have to carry the relatively heavy housing during transport from one room to another or to the storage room, a coupling possibility for the suction mouthpiece and the suction pipe has been created in order to be able to transport the housing by means of the casters provided on the vacuum cleaner mouthpiece. For coupling the suction mouthpiece, a niche is formed in a side wall of the housing directly above the housing base, into which the suction mouthpiece is inserted and clamped by means of a spring clip. In addition, the suction pipe is attached to the corresponding side wall of the housing by means of a snap lock. There is thus a rigid connection between the suction pipe and the housing. To transport the pot vacuum cleaner, the suction tube is tilted slightly, thereby lifting the housing off the floor. The pot vacuum cleaner can now be moved from one room to another by means of the rollers of the suction mouthpiece.

The invention has for its object to provide a vacuum cleaner of the type mentioned in such a way that effortless vacuuming at corners and edges is possible without additional adjustment work being necessary.

The object is achieved according to the invention in that the suction tube is plugged into the suction hose and can only be connected to the suction nozzle via the suction hose, and the suction mouthpiece which can be plugged onto the suction tube is provided with a pivotable connecting piece for the suction tube and can be fastened to the housing by means of a retaining bracket . With the suction nozzle attached to the suction pipe, you can effortlessly vacuum the areas of the floor that cannot be reached through the suction nozzle on the housing. By attaching the suction mouthpiece to the housing using the holding bracket, the vacuum cleaner can be guided by means of the suction tube in the manner of a brush vacuum cleaner. When working with the suction mouthpiece attached to the suction pipe, the vacuum cleaner should be regarded as a full-fledged vacuum cleaner with regard to suction power and handling. The swiveling of the suction pipe is made possible by the swiveling connecting piece of the suction mouthpiece, so that no separate articulation point is required.

Characterized in that a niche receiving the nipple is formed on the housing, the bracket is relieved in terms of force, since the transmission of the pushing force takes place between the nosepiece and the niche walls. The holding brackets only have to hold the suction mouthpiece in the niche.

The invention is described in more detail below on the basis of an exemplary embodiment shown in the drawing.

Zum leichteren Schieben des Staubsaugers weist dieser am rückwärtigen Gehäuseende ein Radpaar 10 auf.1 with the housing of a vacuum cleaner is designated, in which a blower unit and a dust bag accommodating a filter bag are provided in a known manner. At the front end of the housing 1, a suction nozzle 2 is formed on the housing. This suction nozzle 2 is directly connected to the suction space. On the top of the housing 1, an intake 3 for a suction hose 4 is also arranged. The suction hose 4 is also in suction connection with the suction chamber. On the Suction hose 4 is also fitted with a suction pipe 6 provided with a handle 5. On the housing 1 of the vacuum cleaner, a niche 7 is formed, which receives a separate suction nozzle 8 connected to the suction pipe. A holding bracket 9 which can be folded over the suction mouthpiece secures the suction mouthpiece 8 in the niche. To make it easier to push the vacuum cleaner, it has a pair of wheels 10 at the rear end of the housing.

The separate suction mouthpiece 8 has, in a known manner, a pivotable connecting piece for the suction pipe 6. The suction pipe 6 inserted into this connecting piece can thus be swiveled up and down, which makes it easier to guide the vacuum cleaner. So that the separate suction mouthpiece 8 does not slip out of the niche unintentionally, it is secured by one or more retaining brackets 9. If you want to work with the separate suction mouthpiece 8, only the retaining brackets 9 are folded back and the suction mouthpiece 8 can be removed from the niche and used for suction. A sealing body closing the suction opening of the suction mouthpiece 8 can also be attached to the bottom of the recess 7. As a result, the suction mouthpiece 8 is closed automatically, so that when the suction mouthpiece is inserted into the recess 7, suction is only effected via the suction nozzle 2 formed on the housing 1. There is also the possibility of closing the suction nozzle 2 formed on the housing 1 by means of a mechanical locking device which is actuated when the suction mouthpiece 8 is pulled out of the recess 7.

Since the suction pipe 6 is removed from the housing 1 together with the suction mouthpiece 8 when vacuuming with the suction mouthpiece 8, there is no risk of the vacuum cleaner tipping over. In this case, the vacuum cleaner is like a conventional floor vacuum cleaner.
