Definitions

  • the known rubbish blades generally have the disadvantage that the dirt picked up, in particular the light dust and fluff parts, are blown away again by a slight draft of air. This draft can either already be present or can be formed by carrying the shovel to the waste bin. In addition, with such blades, the dirt is often wiped with the wiper over the rear edge of the blade, ie over the edge on which the handle or handle is attached. It can also happen that rubbish already in the shovel is spilled again, whether due to carelessness or for other reasons.
  • the dustpan according to the invention is intended to avoid these disadvantages. According to the invention, it is characterized by the features of Claim 1 marked.
  • Fig. 1 is a perspective view of a first embodiment of the blade ,.
  • FIG 3 shows an embodiment of a shovel provided with a handle, with a lid which is immovable to the shovel, but with a movable shovel base, and
  • Fig. 4 shows an embodiment in which both the bottom and the lid are movable.
  • a blade part 1 which has a blade base 2, two walls 3 delimiting it laterally and a rear wall 4. At the front end, the blade part has an edge 5, which forms a shoulder 6 with the blade base 2.
  • OMPI a lid 7, which has a downwardly bent section 8 on its front side.
  • the cover 7 is firmly connected to an actuating bar 9, which has a corrugation 10 or other suitable rough surface on its upper side in order to be able to press the actuating bar without the risk of the fingers sliding off.
  • actuating bar 9 which has a corrugation 10 or other suitable rough surface on its upper side in order to be able to press the actuating bar without the risk of the fingers sliding off.
  • two short, laterally projecting stub axles 11 are attached, about which the lid 7 and the actuating bar 8 rotate together.
  • the latter sits in an upwardly open trough 12, which is formed by a bottom wall 13 projecting horizontally from the rear wall 4 at half height and a rear wall 14 directly adjoining this, and by two side walls 15.
  • the stub axles 11 are mounted in these side walls 15.
  • the rear wall 14 continues backwards by means of an angled handle piece 16.
  • This is designed such that, in this embodiment, the entire blade can be gripped with the fingers of one hand, which can engage in the space 17 formed by the handle.
  • the handle piece thus replaces the otherwise usual shovel handle; this shortens the shovel and takes up less space in supplying.
  • the cover 7 When picking up contamination of all kinds, the cover 7 is folded up by pressure on the actuating bar 9 and the impurities are wiped into the blade. If this is full, you can let go of the operating bar 9. The lid falls off and the impurities, namely dust, fibers and other very light parts, can no longer be whirled up again by the resulting draft when the shovel is carried to the next emptying location.
  • the lid is expediently made of transparent plastic so that one can immediately see whether the scoop may need to be emptied before use. The emptying process is also done by opening the lid initiated.
  • the lid 7 • moves in particular, the blade part 1 remains relatively immobile, if one does not move the hand.
  • the cover 7 ' is rigidly connected to a stem 18, while the blade part 1' is mounted on the stem 18 by means of a hinge or hinge 19.
  • a rod 20 articulated on the blade base 2 ' leads upwards through a slot 21 parallel to the stem 18 and is articulated at its upper end to a lever 22 which is likewise articulated on the stem 18 and on the other side of which there is one Opening with the stem protruding again.
  • This protruding end 23 can be pressed against the stem with the same hand with which one holds the stem 18 and thus the whole blade.
  • the blade part 1 ' 1 and the cover 7'' which are advantageously both mirror-inverted, are articulatedly connected by means of a hinge 24.
  • a handle is rigidly connected to the corresponding part.
  • the two handles are spread apart.
  • the shovel part and lid move apart, similar to a pair of scissors or pliers, and close again when the pressure on the
  • OMPI Handles 25 loosens; the latter can optionally be connected to one another by a compression spring (not shown). Further variants are also conceivable, in particular blades which have the traditional short handle, which, as is known, moves backwards or else . can extend practically vertically upwards. The actuating bar 9 is then replaced by a narrow organ which interacts with the rigid handle together in the manner of the two handles 25 in FIG. 4.
