- the invention has for its object to provide a nozzle arrangement which is particularly improved in this regard.
- the invention consists in that between the outlet opening of the discharge duct of the first nozzle and the inlet opening of the feed duct of the following nozzle, a guide duct of at least approximately four times the cross-section under sealing with the discharge duct of the first nozzle is arranged in comparison with the cross section of the discharge duct of the first nozzle is.
- a housing 1 contains two nozzles, which are designated as a whole by 2, 3 and are connected in series. Each nozzle 2, 3 contains a nozzle body 4 which is inserted into a bore 6 of the housing 1 with the interposition of rubber seals 5.
- the nozzle body 4 contains a feed channel 8 for the weft thread 7 coming from a weft thread supply bobbin, not shown, and a plurality of air supply channels 9 arranged around it, which open out at an inlet point 70.
- the channels 9 receive air through a supply channel 1.
- a discharge channel 12 is arranged in the flow or thread running direction after the air inlet point 70.
- a guide tube 14 is pushed with the interposition of a sealing ring 13, the cross section B of which is significantly larger than the cross section A, e.g. is four to eight times.
- the guide tube 14 located on the nozzle 2 and axially displaceable according to arrow 61 can e.g. 1 pushed so far to the left that between its outlet opening 16 and the inlet opening 17 of the following nozzle 3 only a small distance C of e.g. one to two millimeters.
- the speed of the air leaving the discharge duct 12 at the outlet opening 21 of the nozzle 2 is greatly reduced by increasing the cross section from A to B. This can result in a relatively large central region M in cross section B, which has a practically constant speed. In comparison, the marginal areas are negligibly small. This has a stabilizing effect on the thread guide; the thread has an increased tendency to remain in the middle area. See the corresponding speed arrows in the diagram of Fig. 1b. Part of the air can escape into the environment at C. The remaining part enters the inflow opening 17 of the following nozzle 3.
- the guide tube 14 located at the nozzle 3 can be brought relatively close to the shed 20 formed by the warp threads 22 moved according to arrow 62, where a fabric 23 is produced by inserting the weft threads 7.
- the guide tube 14 of nozzle 2 can also be pushed to the left in FIG. 1 to such an extent that it protrudes into the inflow opening 17 of the nozzle 3 or sits on the inflow funnel 24 according to FIG. 1 a. In this case, little or no air can escape into the environment.
- the guide tube 14 has only in the end region 26 two rows of perforation holes 27. A portion of the air is able to escape into the environment through them, even if the tube 14 according to FIG. 1 is pushed out to the left so far that it protrudes into the inlet opening 17 of the nozzle 3 or on the Inflow funnel 24 sits.
- the guide tube 14 and the tube 12 have threads 28, as a result of which the tube 14 is axially displaceable and adjustable.
- the guide tube 14 has perforation holes 27 along its entire length. As a result, the amount of air exiting through the tube 14 into the environment can be adjusted.
- the conditions with regard to the guidance of the weft thread 7 between the nozzles 2, 3 on the one hand and the air entraining it on the other hand can be changed in various respects.
- the guide tube between the two nozzles can also be set to optimal conditions by the operating personnel, particularly during weaving operation.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a nozzle arrangement for a loom with jet, e.g. Air jet entry, with at least two entry nozzles connected in series for the thread-like material to be inserted, each entry nozzle having an inlet duct arranged in front of a jet inlet point and an outlet channel arranged after the jet inlet point.
In known arrangements of this type (DE-OS-27 41 859 = US-PS-4 133 353, DE-OS-29 00 144) there is free space between the outlet opening of the first nozzle and the inlet opening of the following nozzle, so that the air jet the first nozzle can largely escape into the environment. As a result, the feed material can be deflected into the environment before entering the following nozzle. This is disadvantageous in particular when threading a new weft thread through the various nozzles of the arrangement.
The invention has for its object to provide a nozzle arrangement which is particularly improved in this regard.
The invention consists in that between the outlet opening of the discharge duct of the first nozzle and the inlet opening of the feed duct of the following nozzle, a guide duct of at least approximately four times the cross-section under sealing with the discharge duct of the first nozzle is arranged in comparison with the cross section of the discharge duct of the first nozzle is. This makes it possible to achieve a larger central area of practically constant speed in the guide channel. The thread is practically carried forward only in this central area. The edge regions of the guide channel which show a decrease in speed are relatively small in relation to the central region. These edge areas have practically no influence on the thread, so that it is not deflected from the middle area. The weaving operation and also the threading of a new weft thread, for example after a weft thread breakage, are thereby favored. The air can be led in the area between the two nozzles.
Further features result from the following description of exemplary embodiments in conjunction with the drawing and the claims.

A housing 1 contains two nozzles, which are designated as a whole by 2, 3 and are connected in series. Each nozzle 2, 3 contains a nozzle body 4 which is inserted into a
In Strömungs- bzw. The nozzle body 4 contains a feed channel 8 for the weft thread 7 coming from a weft thread supply bobbin, not shown, and a plurality of air supply channels 9 arranged around it, which open out at an
On the
The
Der restliche Teil gelangt in die Einströmöffnung 17 der folgenden Düse 3.The speed of the air leaving the
In a corresponding manner, the
For example, the
In the example according to FIG. 2, the
In the embodiment according to FIG. 3, the
With the different versions, the conditions with regard to the guidance of the weft thread 7 between the nozzles 2, 3 on the one hand and the air entraining it on the other hand can be changed in various respects. The guide tube between the two nozzles can also be set to optimal conditions by the operating personnel, particularly during weaving operation.
