Pfeil A bezeichnet.

5. Device according to claim 2, characterized in that the individual fluid ducts (21, 21 /; 22, 22 '; 23, 23') via annular chambers (131, 132, 133) and lines (14, 15) to a main line ( 5) are connected and that the fluid channels, the annular chambers and the lines in the entry direction (A) have increasing dimensions.
6. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized by several nozzles (31, 32, 33) arranged in alignment one behind the other, each with a fluid channel.
The invention relates to a device for inserting weft threads into a shed by means of a jet of fluid, with a nozzle comprising a thread channel for guiding the weft threads and a fluid channel opening into the thread channel for guiding the fluid.
Known devices of this type have only a single fluid channel and the fluid thus strikes a single, narrowly delimited area of the weft thread with the large flow shock required to accelerate the weft thread. As a result, the weft thread is heavily stressed in this area and its structure is influenced by this stress. This can lead to breakage of the weft thread, especially with spun yarns with little twist.
The invention has the object of creating a device for inserting weft threads in which the mentioned disadvantage of the known embodiment can be avoided.
The object set is achieved according to the invention in that a plurality of fluid channels arranged at a distance from one another in the longitudinal direction of the weft thread are provided.
In the device according to the invention, the fluid no longer hits a small area of the weft thread in a single large flow shock, but instead hits several locations on the weft thread in several smaller flow pulses.
As a result, the stress on the weft thread is distributed over several points and is accordingly lower at the individual points.
In the following the invention will be explained in more detail with reference to execution examples and the figures of the drawing; in the latter show:
Fig. 1 is a schematic representation of a device according to the invention,
2 shows a first exemplary embodiment of a device according to the invention in a block diagram, and
3 shows a longitudinal section through a second embodiment example of a device according to the invention.
Fig. 1 shows a schematic longitudinal section through one thread channel 1 and three opening into the latter
Fluid channels 21, 22 and 23 having nozzle 3 for the
Entry of a weft thread 4 into a shed (not shown). The insertion direction of the weft thread 4 is with one
Arrow A denotes. The weft thread 4 is in the area of
The confluence of each fluid channel 21, 22 and 23 through the flowing fluid with one acting in the entry direction A.
Force is applied and thereby accelerated. In this way, that required for accelerating the weft thread 4 becomes
Force divided into three partial forces, each of which is only about one
Third of the total force required.
Accordingly, the stress on the weft thread 4 in the area of the junctions of the fluid channels 21, 21 and 23 in the
Thread channel 1 compared to a nozzle with only one Fluidumka channel reduced by about two thirds.
The device shown in Fig. 2 consists essentially of three consecutively aligned individual nozzles 31, 32 and 33, through which the front part of the weft thread 4 to be inserted in the insertion direction A is placed. Each of the nozzles 31, 32 and 33 is connected to a fluid line 71, 72 and 73 branching off from a main line 6.
Each of the fluid bypasses 71, 72 and 73 contains a controlled valve 81, 82 and 83 and a controllable throttle stage 91, 92 and 93, respectively.
The valves 81, 82 and 83 are controlled so that the nozzles
31, 32 and 33 one after the other, namely in the order of their numbering with fluid and that the
Fluid supply to the individual nozzles 31, 32 and 33 likewise one after the other, namely in the reverse order in which the nozzle numbering is switched off. The throttle stages 91, 92 and 93 are regulated in such a way that the fluid flows into the front nozzle 31 in the entry direction A than into the middle nozzle 32 and into the middle nozzle 32 faster than into the rear nozzle 33. This prevents that the weft thread 4 is compressed through the rear or middle nozzle 33 or 32 against the middle or front nozzle 32 or 31.
The valves 81, 82 and 83 and the throttle stages
91, 92 and 93 can be replaced by suitable dimensioning of the fluid diversions 71, 72 and 73, so that the nozzles 31, 32 and 33 can be controlled via a main valve 10 in the main line 6.
The device shown in FIG. 3 consists of a nozzle 3 made up of two parts. Both nozzle parts are elongated, cylindrical in shape. The inner part 11 of the nozzle 3 comprises the thread duct 1 and a total of six fluid ducts 21, 21 /, 22, 22 ', 23 and 23' opening into this, with two fluid ducts facing each other.
The outer part 12 surrounding the nozzle inner part 11 is shorter than the inner part 11, so that the latter protrudes a little bit from the outer part 12 and essentially contains three pairs of fluid channels 21, 211; 22, 22 'and 23, 23' enclosing annular chamber 131, 132 and 133. The front in A carrying direction A annular chamber 131 is connected to a fluid bypass 5 and via a line 14 with the
middle annular chamber 132, which in turn is connected to the rear annular chamber 133 via a line 15.
The fluid channels 21, 21 /; 22, 22 'and 23, 23', the annular chambers 131, 132 and 133 as well as the lines 14 and 15 are dimensioned so that first the fluid channels 21, 21 /, then the fluid channels 22, 22 'and finally the fluid channels 23, 23 'are acted upon by fluid and that, in addition, the fluid in the front fluid channels 21, 21' flows faster than in the middle 22, 22 'and in the middle faster than in the rear 23 and 23'. In addition, the thread channel 1 is designed such that it widens in the insertion direction A after each confluence of a fluid channel pair.
Instead of two opposite fluid channels 21, 21 /; 22, 2 'and 23, 23' could also, as indicated in FIG. 1, only open one fluid channel into the thread channel 1. Likewise, more than two, for example three fluid channels offset from one another by 120 each, could open into the thread channel 1.
