If the motor 35 bums out or otherwise ceases to function, the thermal cut-out 21 prevents the heater element from overheating. It is then a simple matter to disconnect the hairdryer from the mains supply, unfasten the three screws 45, 46 and 47 and thereby sepa rate the casing from the housing.
  • the motor 35 comes away from the housing with the outer casing 38.
  • the motor 35, fan 41, inner casing 36 and vanes 37 can then be removed as a unit from the outer casing and discarded. A similar new unit is then inserted in the outer casing and the outer casing is again joined to the housing by the three screws.

Abstract

Un seche-cheveux comprend une enceinte (11) qui contient un element de chauffage electrique (13) et un commutateur de commande ou des commutateurs de commande pour le seche-cheveux. Un moteur electrique (35) entraine un ventilateur (41) qui souffle de l'air a travers l'element de chauffage pour produire un courant d'air chauffe. Le moteur est monte dans un boitier (38) qui est amovible par rapport a l'enceinte (11) et, est electriquement connecte au reste du seche-cheveux par des prises (52, 53) et des douilles (28, 29) qui s'engagent et se degagent automatiquement lors du montage du boitier dans l'enceinte. Cette disposition permet de changer de maniere tres simple un moteur grille.

Claims (7)

1. Sèche-cheveux comportant un boîtier (11), ), un élément chauffant électrique (13), un moteur électrique (35) et un ventilateur (41) disposé de façon à être entraîné par le moteur afin de souffler de l'air vers un orifice de sortie en le faisant passer sur l'élément chauffant, le moteur et le boîtier étant pourvus de guides d'alignement (37 et 39) mutuellement coopérants disposés de façon à guider le moteur vers l'intérieur du boîtier de sorte que le moteur et le boîtier se trouvent en alignement mutuel, le sèche-cheveux étant caractérisé en ce que le moteur électrique et le ventilateur sont démontables ensemble du boîtier et remplaçables sans enlèvement ni exposition de l'élément chauffant, et en ce que le moteur électrique est un moteur électrique à aimant permanent à courant continu et comporte des bornes électriques (52,53) qui sont automatiquement connectées à d'autres bornes électriques (28,29) situées dans la partie restante du sèche-cheveux lors de l'introduction du moteur dans le boîtier et sont automatiquement déconnectées lorsque le moteur est extrait du boîtier, de sorte qu'on peut remplacer un moteur défectueux par un moteur neuf sans toucher à l'élément chauffant ni au câblage électrique interconnectant les organes du sèche-cheveux.
2. Sèche-cheveux selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le ventilateur est monté directement sur l'arbre du moteur et est démontable avec le moteur.
3. Sèche-cheveux selon la revendication 1 ou la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que le moteur est monté dans une coquille et en ce que la coquille est démontable du boîtier avec le moteur électrique.
4. Sèche-cheveux selon la revendication 3, caractérisé en ce que la coquille comprend une coquille intérieure entourant étroitement le moteur, une coquille extérieure et des ailettes prévues entre la coquille intérieure et la coquille extérieure et supportant la coquille intérieure et le moteur à l'intérieur de la coquille extérieure.
5. Sèche-cheveux selon la revendication 4, caractérisé en ce que la coquille intérieure et les ailettes sont démontables de la coquille extérieure avec le moteur de sorte que le moteur, la coquille intérieure et les ailettes sont remplacés lorsqu'on remplace le moteur tandis que la coquille extérieure d'origine peut être réutilisée.
6. Sèche-cheveux selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le boîtier comporte un corps principal hébergeant l'élément chauffant et comporte également une partie de manche dépassant latéralement du corps principal et hébergeant des commandes pour le sèche-cheveux, et en ce que le moteur est monté dans une coquille qui comporte une partie postérieure de manche disposée de façon à coopérer avec la partie de manche mentionnée en premier lieu afin de former un manche complet.
7. Sèche-cheveux selon la revendication 6, caractérisé en ce que le fil ou câble de raccordement du sèche-cheveux au secteur aboutit dans le manche et est accessible pour connexion et déconnexion lorsque la coquille et sa partie postérieure de manche sont enlevées.
