Abstract

Claims (4)

1. A machine for cutting and removing cord or band from secured goods (3), with a portal stand (23-26) and a conveyor (22) leading through the latter, in which the portal stand has a horizontal cross beam (28) made vertically adjustable and a cutter unit (1), characterized in that the cross beam is adjustable by two rope lines (29, 30) and in that to the bottom side of one end section of the cross beam the cutter unit and to the bottom of the other end section a suction unit (2) are adjustable in the longitudinal direction of the cross beam (28), each of which units has a feeler plate (4) that is exposed to the action of springs (17) and that is secured to two push and pull rods (15) run in longitudinal bearings (19) and that is connected with a control drive (12).
2. A machine according to claim 1, characterized in that the rope lines (29, 30) are linked through a chain block (37) in actual connection with a gear brake motor.
