Claims (10)

  1. Device for removing wire from units consisting of two stacks located closely adjacent one another and comprising two or a plurality of superimposed bales, wherein each unit in a plane is surrounded by a bundle of a plurality of parallel individual wires gripping all the bales, characterised by a conveying device (6), by means of which the units (7) can be transported into a predetermined position in the wire-removing device, a wire-cutting device (18) for cutting through the wire bundle (15) in the lower area of the unit, a wire lifting device (3) for raising the cut wire bundle (15) from the top of the unit, a gripping device (4), which grasps the wire bundle (15) on both sides of the wire lifting device (3) and brings it into a predetermined removal position, as well as a winding device (5), by means of which the wire bundle (15) is grasped, wound up to form a dense coil, and is discharged from the device.
  2. Wire-removal device according to Claim 1, characterised in that there is provided a bale tilting device (22) by means of which the two stacks of the bales can be tilted away from one another at an angle such that a wedge-shaped gap, originating from the top of the unit (7), is produced between the two stacks; and in that the wire lifting device (3) comprises a lifting arm (26) which engages into the wedge-shaped gap and lifts the wire bundle from below.
  3. Wire-removal device according to Claim 2, characterised in that the lifting arm (26) can be pivoted about a horizontal shaft (27).
  4. Wire-removal device according to any one of Claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the conveying device (6) consists of two conveyor chains (16) disposed at a distance from one another.
  5. Wire-removal device according to Claim 4, characterised in that the wire-cutting device (18) is disposed between the conveying chains (16) and transversely thereto.
  6. Wire-removal device according to Claim 5, characterised in that the wire-cutting device (18) comprises two elongate cutter bars (19, 20) which are provided on their cutting edges with teeth, which are disposed at regular intervals and are undercut on the working tooth flank, and can be moved in a reciprocating manner relative to one another.
  7. Wire-removal device according to any one of Claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the winding device (5) is formed by a winding head (33) which can be moved onto the wire bundle (15) which can be gripped by the gripping device (4).
  8. Wire-removal device according to Claim 7, characterised in that the winding head (33) can be moved in the vertical direction.
  9. Wire-removal device according to any one of Claims 2 to 8, characterised in that the bale tilting device (22) consists of two tables (23) which are disposed on either side of the wire-cutting device (18) and in each case can be tilted about a horizontal shaft (24) extending transversely to the conveying direction of the unit (7).
  10. Wire-removal device according to Claim 9, characterised in that the shafts (24) of the tilting tables (23) are in each case disposed on the side of the tilting table (23) facing away from the wire-cutting device (18).
