The invention relates to an extractor hood for arrangement above kitchen stoves or the like, preferably between or in wall units of kitchen furniture, consisting of a housing and a fan extracting and promoting the cooking fumes and with a grease and odor filter arranged in front of the suction side.

An extractor hood of this type is known from DE-B 2206904. This extractor hood is housed in a built-in kitchen cupboard above the hob and is partially pulled out of the cupboard when in use. Due to the design, this extractor hood is only suitable for installation in a closet and cannot be used as a free-hanging extractor hood.

The invention has for its object to improve an extractor hood of the type mentioned with simple constructive means so that a seamless installation in any cabinet of a kitchen furniture is possible and a clean finish to the receiving closet is achieved, so that any existing Tolerances in the internal dimensions of the closets are balanced.

The solution to this problem according to the invention can be found in the claims.

The advantages achieved with the invention are essentially to be seen in the fact that the extractor hood can be fitted in or between wall cupboards of different kitchen furniture manufacturers. This results in easy storage for manufacturers and dealers. Another advantage is the simple installation of the extractor hood in the closet.

An embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing and will be described in more detail below with reference to this. Show it
  • FIG. 1 shows an extractor hood in a sectional view,
  • FIG. 2 shows an enlarged section X from this hood,
  • Figure 3 this hood in section III-III according to Figure 1, but without housing 1 and
  • Figure 4 is an enlarged view in section IV-IV of Figure 3.

In the housing 1 of an extractor hood 2 there is accommodated a fan 3 which sucks off and promotes the cooking fumes, which is preceded by a usual grease and odor filter4. In the illustrated embodiment, the extractor hood 2 is accommodated or installed in a downwardly open wall cabinet 10 of a fitted kitchen furniture, a spacing gap 11, 11 'being present between the housing 1 of the extractor hood and the adjacent side walls 10' of the wall cabinet 10, which gap is present in the individual Closets can vary in width due to existing tolerances of the manufacturers. To install or hold the extractor hood 2 in the closet 10 are in the front and lower area on the inside of the side walls 10 'in depth or. Height direction of the closet 10 extending angle-like holding rails fastened by means of conventional wood screws 6 so that one leg 5 'of the holding rail 5 runs or stands perpendicular to the inside of the side wall 10'. The leg 5 'of the holding rail 5 projecting perpendicularly from the inside of the wall of the closet 10' is provided with a bend 7 running in the longitudinal direction of the holding rail, so that the leg 5 'has an approximately Z-shaped cross section. The housing 1 of the extractor hood 2 is braced with the two angle holding rails 5 mounted on the side. For this purpose, the two side walls 2 'of the housing 2 are each formed in the front and lower area with an outwardly directed fastening rail 8 which is at right angles to the side wall 2' and is itself part of the side wall. The fastening rail 8 ends at the end with a fold 9 and is provided with at least two elongated holes 12 one behind the other. With the help of the two lateral mounting rails 8, the housing 1 of the extractor hood 2 is clamped to the bent part of the holding rail leg 5 'by screws 17 with the interposition of a pressure element 17'. The lateral fastening rail 8 advantageously covers the holding rail 5 in each case. The elongated holes 12 allow tolerances with respect to the housing of the extractor hood 2 and the closet 10 to be compensated for. The fold 9 at the end of the fastening rail 8 is adjusted in the height of the bend 7 in the leg 5 'of the holding rail 5 and lies in one plane with it. This and in connection with the covering of the holding rail 5 by the fastening rail 8 results in a clean rounded edge finish compared to the holding rail seen from below.

On the two side walls 2 'of the extractor hood housing 1, a depth plate 16 is attached in the upper area so that it forms a horizontal line with the top wall 2 "of the housing 1 a right-angled slide-in rail 13 running parallel thereto is screwed on by means of screws 14. This slide-in rail is expediently fixed in the closet 10 by means of spacers 15 attached there at a distance from the top wall 10 ″. By means of the carrying plates 16 attached to the housing 1 of the extractor hood 2 on the left and right in the upper region, the extractor hood 2 is mounted on the right for the purpose of easy assembly angular side slide rails 13 set in the closet 10 and inserted into the interior of the closet. After the side fastening rail 8 has been screwed to the holding rail, it is in the closet 10. inserted extractor hood 2 secured in its installation position. The spacing gap 11 or 11 ′, which extends in the vertical direction of the wall cabinet 10 on both sides, between the extractor hood 2 and the cabinet wall 10 ′ is covered by the holding rail 5.
