Plus particulièrement, l'invention concerne un tel dispositif d'entraînement comportant deux glissières de guidage qui sont solidaires de la partie de carrosserie du véhicule recevant le panneau mobile et dans lesquelles sont engagés les bords latéraux respectifs du panneau coulissant, un dispositif moteur comportant, d'une part, une platine sur laquelle est monté un moteur et, d'autre part, des éléments d'engrènement qui, par l'intermédiaire d'organes de couplage, transmettent le mouvement du moteur à un troisième bord du panneau coulissant. Un tel dispositif d'entraînement est connu du Certificat d'Utilité français No. 2 304 259.
