Abstract

Предусмотрен способ получения ротавирусоподобной частицы (RLP) в растении. Способ предусматривает экспрессию в хозяине или клетке-хозяине, например растении, части растения или растительной клетке, одной или более нуклеиновых кислот, содержащих одну или более регуляторных областей, функционально связанных с первой, второй и третьей нуклеотидной последовательностью, причем регуляторная область активна в хозяине или клетке-хозяине. Первая нуклеотидная последовательность кодирует первый ротавирусный белок, вторая нуклеотидная последовательность кодирует второй ротавирусный белок и третья нуклеотидная последовательность кодирует третий ротавирусный белок. Первая, вторая и третья нуклеиновые кислоты кодируют ротавирусные белки NSP4 и VP2 или VP6 и VP4 или VP7. Хозяина или клетку-хозяина инкубируют в условиях, которые позволяют экспрессию нуклеиновых кислот, так что экспрессируются NSP4 и VP2 или VP6 и VP4 или VP7, тем самым производя RLP. Также предусмотрены хозяева, содержащие RLP, композиции, содержащие RLP, и способ применения композиции.
