Abstract

Настоящее изобретение относится к рекомбинантному α1-антитрипсину человека (rhAAT), который содержит N-связанные гликаны, где по меньшей мере 10% из указанных N-связанных гликанов представляют собой тетраантенные гликаны; и степень кэпирования сиаловой кислотой указанных N-связанных гликанов (Z/A) составляет по меньшей мере 50%. Изобретение дополнительно относится к применению rhAAT в качестве лекарственного средства, в частности, к применению для профилактики и/или лечения заболевания, связанного с недостатком ААТ, и/или заболевания, сопровождающегося повреждением тканей, опосредованным нейтрофилами.
