Abstract

Данное изобретение относится к усовершенствованному способу переработки вспененного полистирола. Указанный способ, по существу, включает уменьшение объема вспененного полистирола посредством растворения в растворителе, отделение нерастворимых компонентов, селективное осаждение полистирола осадителем, отделение, сушку и экструзию осажденного полистирола, выделение путем перегонки и возвращение в процесс растворителя. Способ отличается тем, что осадителем является бутанол, выбранный из н-бутанола, изобутанола или втор-бутанола, а растворителем является диметилкарбонат, один или в смеси, содержащей до 25 мас.% бутанола.
