Claims (8)
1. Elektrode til udvikling af gasformige produkter i elektrolytiske celler bestående af et metalsubstrat, der er forsynet med en katalytisk coating, hvor den katalytiske coating består af en blanding af oxider indeholdende 55-70 vægtprocent af tin, 5-20 vægtprocent af iridium og 20-40 vægtprocent af ruthenium baseret på metallerne, hvor den katalytiske coating består af lag med en gennemsnitlig tykkelse på 0,1 til 0,4 pm, hvor den katalytiske coating har en samlet ædelmetalbelastning udtrykt som summen af iridium og ruthenium baseret på metallerne på 2 til 25 g/m2.
2. Elektrode ifølge krav 1, hvor lagene har en ædelmetalbelastning udtrykt som summen af iridium og ruthenium baseret på metallerne på 0,2 til 1,4 g/m2 pr. lag.
3. Elektrode ifølge krav 1 eller 2, hvor den samlede ædelmetalbelastning af den katalytiske coating udtrykt som summen af iridium og ruthenium baseret på metallerne er 5 til 12 g/m2.
4. Elektrode ifølge kravene 1 til 3, hvor forholdet Ir/Ru er 0,3 til 0,4 vægtprocent baseret på metallerne.
5. Elektrode ifølge kravene 1 til 4, hvor den katalytiske coating består af en blanding af oxider indeholdende 55-65 vægtprocent af tin, 16-20 vægtprocent af iridium og 20-25 vægtprocent af ruthenium baseret på metallerne.
6. Fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af en elektrode ifølge et af kravene 1 til 5 omfattende udførelsen af de følgende sekventielle trin på et metalsubstrat: a) påføring af en opløsning, som indeholder prækursorer af komponenterne af den katalytiske coating, på metalsubstratet med efterfølgende tørring ved 50-60 °C og termisk nedbrydning ved 450-600 °C, indtil der opnås en specifik ædelmetalbelastning på 0,2 til 1,4 g/m2; b) gentagelse af trin a), indtil der opnås en katalytisk coating med en specifik ædelmetalbelastning på 2 til 25 g/m2; c) slutvarmebehandling ved 500-550 °C i et tidsrum på 50 til 200 minutter.
7. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 6 omfattende en intermediær varmebehandling ved 500-550 °C i et tidsrum på 50 til 200 minutter, der udføres, når påføringen af halvdelen af den samlede belastning af ædelmetal opnås.
8. Elektrolysecelle af alkalichloridopløsninger omfattende en elektrode ifølge et af kravene 1 til 5 som chlor-udviklende anode.
