Claims (9)

1. Velsmagende tør kattemad kendetegnet ved: a) en formulering af bestanddele omfattende mindst, i vægt-% af den tørre kattemad: - fra ca. 11 til ca. 22 % ris; - fra ca. 5 til ca. 22 % majsgluten; - fra ca. 8 til ca. 27 % fjerkræmel-biprodukter; - fra ca. 3 til ca. 22 % majs; - fra ca. 0,9 til ca. 5 % tørrede helæg; - fra ca. 0,5 til ca. 5,5 % fiberkilde; - fra ca. 0,5 til ca. 5,5 % fiskemateriale; - fra ca. 0,9 til ca. 7 % gær; - fra ca. 0,3 til ca. 5 % vitaminer og/eller mikromineraler og/eller taurin; og b) en ernæringssammensætning omfattende mindst, i vægt-% af den tørre kattemad: - fra ca. 3 til ca. 8,5 % fugtindhold; - fra ca. 33 til ca. 42 % protein; - fra ca. 9,5 til ca. 18 % fedt; - fra ca. 4 til ca. 10 % aske; - fra ca. 4 til ca. 10,5 % fibre i alt; og - fra ca. 20 til ca. 30,5 % stivelse.
2. Velsmagende tør kattemad ifølge krav 1, hvor formuleringen yderligere omfatter mindre end ca. 10 vægt-% hvede af den tørre kattemad.
3. Velsmagende tør kattemad ifølge krav 1 eller 2, hvor den tørre kattemad er coatet med en sammensætning, der øger velsmagenheden.
4. Fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af en tør kattemad ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 3, omfattende mindst trinnene: a) Blanding af mindst følgende ingredienser: ris, majsgluten, fjerkræmel-biprodukter, majs, tørrede helæg, fiberkilde, fiskemateriale, gær, vitaminer og/eller mikromineraler og/eller taurin; b) Ekstrudering af den således opnåede blanding; og c) Tørring af ekstrudatet opnået i trin b), hvorved der opnås den velsmagende tørre kattemad.
5. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 4, yderligere omfattende et trin d) med coating af den tørre kattemad opnået i trin c) med en sammensætning, der øger velsmagenheden.
6. Fremgangsmåde til fodring af en kat, omfattende: a) fodring af katten med en velsmagende tør kattemad ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 3.
7. Velsmagende tør kattemad ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 3, hvor katten er en voksen kat.
8. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 4-5, hvor katten er en voksen kat.
9. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 6, hvor katten er en voksen kat.
