Claims (18)
1. Intravenøst (IV) sætsystem, der omfatter: et primært IV-sæt (100, 200, 300, 400, 500) med en flerhed af tilgangspunkter, der letter tilgang til én eller flere fluidbaner af det primære IV-sæt (100, 200, 300, 400, 500); hvor mindst ét sekundært IV-sæt (116, 118, 120, 216, 218, 316, 318, 416, 418) omfatter en flerhed af tilgangspunkter, der letter tilgang til én eller flere fluidbaner af det sekundære IV-sæt (116, 118, 120, 216, 218, 316, 318, 416, 418); og en sammenflydende fluidbane, der er placeret omkring det primære IV-sæt (100, 200, 300, 400, 500) og omfatter en flerhed af tilgangsåbninger (110, 210, 510, 510a, 510b, 564), kendetegnet ved, at: der mindst ene sekundære IV-sæt (116, 118, 120, 216, 218, 316, 318, 416, 418) fluidmæssigt kan sammenkobles med én af tilgangsåbningeme (110, 210, 510, 510a, 510b, 564) af den sammenflydende fluidbane, således at en fluidstrømningsbane af det sekundære IV-sæt (116, 118, 120, 216, 218, 316, 318, 416, 418) flyder direkte sammen med en fluidstrømningsbane af det primære IV-sæt (100, 200, 300, 400, 500), hvor mindst to af tilgangsåbningeme (110, 210, 510, 510a, 510b, 564) er adskilt fra hinanden langs en længde af det primære IV-sæt (100, 200, 300, 400, 500) og strækker sig udefter fra det primære IV-sæt (100, 200, 300, 400, 500) i forskellige radiale retninger.
2. IV-sætsystem ifølge krav 1, hvor den sammenflydende fluidbane er placeret i umiddelbar nærhed af et distalt endepunkt af det primære IV-sæt (100, 200, 300, 400, 500); eller hvor tilgangsåbningeme (110, 210, 510, 510a, 510b, 564) af den sammenflydende fluidbane er anbragt i aksialt forskudte positioner i forhold til hinanden for at tilvejebringe tilstrækkeligt mellemrum mellem de forskellige tilgangsåbninger (110, 210, 510, 510a, 510b, 564) for samtidig tilgang for flere brugere; eller hvor det mindst ene sekundære IV-sæt (116, 118, 120, 216, 218, 316, 318, 416, 418) er separat forenet med ét af eller både det primære IV-sæt (100, 200, 300, 400, 500) og et andet sekundært IV-sæt på mindst en halvkontinuerlig måde i alt væsentligt langs deres længde for at forhindre sammenfiltring med det primære IV-sæt (100, 200, 300, 400, 500) og et hvilket som helst andet sekundært IV-sæt.
3. IV-sætsystem ifølge krav 1, hvor: det sekundære IV-sæt (116, 118, 120, 216, 218, 316, 318, 416, 418) aftageligt og fluidmæssigt kan sammenkobles med det primære IV-sæt (100, 200, 300, 400, 500) via ét af tilgangspunkterne af det primære IV-sæt (100, 200, 300, 400, 500), hvor det sekundære IV-sæt (116, 118, 120, 216, 218, 316, 318, 416, 418) endvidere er separat forenet med det primære IV-sæt (100, 200, 300, 400, 500) på mindst en halvkontinuerlig måde i alt væsentligt langs dets længde for at forhindre sammenfiltring med det primære IV-sæt (100, 200, 300, 400, 500).
4. IV-sætsystem ifølge krav 3, hvor det sekundære IV-sæt (116, 118, 120, 216, 218, 316, 318, 416, 418) selektivt helt eller delvist kan adskilles fra det primære IV-sæt (100, 200, 300, 400, 500); eller hvor det sekundære IV-sæt (116, 118, 120, 216, 218, 316, 318, 416, 418) mindst delvist kan adskilles fra det primære IV-sæt (100, 200, 300, 400, 500) for at tilvejebringe variable frie længder af det sekundære IV-sæt (116, 118, 120, 216, 218, 316, 318, 416, 418); eller hvor de variable frie længder letter etableringen af én eller flere sekundære strømningsledninger til en primær strømningsledning af det primære IV-sæt (100, 200, 300, 400, 500).
5. IV-sætsystem ifølge krav 3, hvor det sekundære IV-sæt (116, 118, 120, 216, 218, 316, 318, 416, 418) er integralt separat forenet med det primære IV-sæt (100, 200, 300, 400, 500); eller hvor det sekundære IV-sæt (116, 118, 120, 216, 218, 316, 318, 416, 418) er separat forenet med det primære IV-sæt (100, 200, 300, 400, 500) på en kontinuerlig måde; eller hvor det sekundære IV-sæt (116, 118, 120, 216, 218, 316, 318, 416, 418) er separat forenet med det primære IV-sæt (100, 200, 300, 400, 500) på en diskontinuerlig måde.
6. IV-sætsystem ifølge krav 3, der endvidere omfatter en flerhed af sekundære IV-sæt (116, 118, 120, 216, 218, 316, 318, 416, 418) separat forenet med ét af eller både det primære IV-sæt (100, 200, 300, 400, 500) og et andet sekundært IV-sæt for at forhindre ledningssammenfiltring med det primære IV-sæt og et hvilket om helst andet sekundært IV-sæt (116, 118, 120, 216, 218,316,318,416,418).
7. IV-sætsystem ifølge krav 3, der endvidere omfatter en flerhed af sekundære IV-sæt (116, 118, 120, 216, 218, 316, 318, 416, 418) separat forenet med ét af eller både det primære IV-sæt (100, 200, 300, 400, 500) og et andet sekundært IV-sæt på en diskontinuerlig måde ved adskilte bindingspunkter med afbrudte længder derimellem for at tilvejebringe aftagelige stoppunkter for aftrækning af det sekundære IV-sæt (116, 118, 120, 216, 218, 316, 318, 416, 418) ved forudbestemte længder; eller endvidere omfatter en flerhed af sekundære IV-sæt (116, 118, 120, 216, 218, 316, 318, 416, 418) separat forenet med ét af eller både det primære IV-sæt (100, 200, 300, 400, 500) og et andet sekundært IV-sæt på en kontinuerlig måde langs en væsentlig længde af det sekundære IV-sæt (116, 118, 120, 216, 218, 316, 318, 416, 418).
8. IV-sætsystem ifølge krav 6, hvor flerheden af sekundære IV-sæt (116, 118, 120, 216, 218, 316, 318, 416, 418) er rettet ind i både et parallelt og periferisk arrangement i forhold til det primære IV-sæt (100, 200, 300, 400, 500).
9. IV-sætsystem ifølge krav 3, hvor det sekundære IV-sæt (116, 118, 120, 216, 218, 316, 318, 416, 418) er separat forenet med det primære IV-sæt (100, 200, 300, 400, 500) via et fastgørelseselement placeret mellem det primære og det sekundære IV-sæt.
10. IV-sætsystem ifølge krav 9, hvor fastgørelseselementet omfatter en forlængelsesdel, der strækker sig fra, og er af det samme materiale som det anvendt til at danne, en rørstruktur af ét af eller både det primære og sekundære IV-sæt; eller hvor fastgørelseselementet er dannet på en kontinuerlig måde mellem det primære og sekundære IV-sæt.
11. IV-sætsystem ifølge krav 3, hvor det primære IV-sæt (100, 200, 300, 400, 500) omfatter topniveau-markeringstegn, der fungerer til at holde det primære IV-sæt (100, 200, 300, 400, 500) adskilt, hvor topniveau-markering stegnet er forbundet med ét eller flere af tilgangspunkterne af det primære IV-sæt (100, 200, 300, 400, 500).
12. IV-sætsystem ifølge krav 11, hvor det sekundære IV-sæt (116, 118, 120, 216, 218, 316, 318, 416, 418) omfatter markeringstegn, der adskiller sig fra topniveau-markeringstegnet for det primære IV-sæt (100, 200, 300, 400, 500), og hvor det primære og det sekundære IV-sæt kan skelnes fra hinanden.
13. IV-sætsystem ifølge krav 12, hvor det primære IV-sæt (100, 200, 300, 400, 500) endvidere omfatter andet niveau-markeringstegn, hvor andet niveau-markeringstegnet for det primære IV-sæt (100, 200, 300, 400, 500) matcher markeringstegnet for det sekundære IV-sæt (116, 118, 120, 216, 218, 316, 318, 416, 418), hvorved der tilvejebringes et sæt af matchende tegn over IV-sæt.
14. IV-sætsystem ifølge krav 13, hvor topniveau- og andet niveau-markeringstegn for det primære IV-sæt (100, 200, 300, 400, 500) er forbundet med mindst ét tilgangspunkt af det primære IV-sæt (100, 200, 300, 400, 500), og hvor markeringstegnet for det sekundære IV-sæt (116, 118, 120, 216, 218, 316, 318, 416, 418) er forbundet med mindst ét tilgangspunkt af det sekundære IV-sæt (116, 118, 120, 216, 218, 316, 318, 416, 418).
15. IV-sætsystem ifølge krav 3, der endvidere omfatter en fordeler, der kan fungere til eksternt aftagelig sammenkobling til det primære IV-sæt (100, 200, 300, 400, 500) via flerheden af tilgangspunkter, hvilken fordeler omfatter en omledningsstrømningsledning, der danner en alternativ primær strømningsbane til en fluidbane af det primære IV-sæt (100, 200, 300, 400, 500).
16. IV-sætsystem ifølge krav 1, hvor: det primære IV-sæt (100, 200, 300, 400, 500) har et topniveau-markeringstegn; og det mindst ene sekundære IV-sæt (116, 118, 120, 216, 218, 316, 318, 416, 418) har markeringstegn, der adskiller fra sig topniveau-markeringstegnet for det primære IV-sæt (100, 200, 300, 400, 500).
17. Fremgangsmåde til styring af anvendelse af det intravenøse (IV-) sætsystem ifølge krav 1, hvilken fremgangsmåde omfatter: initiering af anvendelse af en IV til en patient langs et primært IV-sæt (100, 200, 300, 400, 500); identificering af et første sekundært IV-sæt af IV-sætsystemet til administration af et stof til patienten; mindst delvis aftagning af en øvre ende af det første sekundære IV-sæt af IV-sætsystemet for at tilvejebringe en fri, ikke-fastgjort ende for at lette korrekt tilgang og positionering deraf inde i IV-sætsystemet, mens en fastgjort del af det sekundære IV- sæt fastholdes, hvorved sandsynligheden for sammenfiltring af det primære og det sekundære IV-sæt reduceres; og aftagning af en nedre ende af det sekundære IV-sæt (116, 118, 120, 216, 218, 316, 318, 416, 418) og sammenkobling heraf med en tilgangsåbning placeret i umiddelbar nærhed af et distalt endepunkt af det primære IV-sæt (100, 200, 300, 400, 500).
18. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 17, der endvidere omfatter trinnet med fuld aftagning af det sekundære IV-sæt (116, 118, 120, 216, 218, 316, 318, 416, 418) fra IV-sætsystemet efter anvendelse.
