Claims (12)
1. Anvendelse af et chelateringsmiddel og et antimikrobielt middel der er effektivt over for en plantepatogen mikroorganisme for at hæmme væksten af og/eller dræbe en plantepatogen mikroorganisme i en plante; hvor det antimikrobielle middel omfatter et polypeptid omfattende Blad-sekvensen vist i SEQ ID NO: 4 eller en aktiv variant deraf der har antimikrobiel aktivitet og der omfatter en sekvens der er mindst 70% identisk med enten SEQ ID NO:4 eller et fragment af SEQ ID NO:4 der har en længde på mindst 100 aminosyrer.
2. Anvendelse af et chelateringsmiddel til at forøge aktiviteten af et antimikrobielt middel der er effektivt over for en plantepatogen mikroorganisme; hvor det antimikrobielle middel er som defineret i krav 1.
3. Anvendelse ifølge krav 1 eller krav 2 kendetegnet ved at chelateringsmidlet og det antimikrobielle middel påføres en plante som har behov derfor.
4. Anvendelse ifølge krav 3 hvor det antimikrobielle middel og chelateringsmidlet indgives til planten: a) som del af den samme sammensætning; eller b) separat, enten sekventielt eller samtidigt.
5. Anvendelse ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav hvor det antimikrobielle middel er effektivt over for en plantepatogen bakterie eller svamp.
6. Anvendelse ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav hvor chelateringsmidlet er et polyaminocarboxylat.
7. Anvendelse ifølge krav 6, hvor chelateringsmidlet er EDTA.
8. Fremgangsmåde til at hæmme væksten af og/eller dræbe en plantepatogen mikroorganisme omfattende at indgive til en plante som har behov derfor et chelateringsmiddelog et antimikrobielt middel der er effektivt over for en plantepatogen mikroorganisme; hvor det antimikrobielle middel er som defineret i krav 1.
9. Fremgangsmåde til at forøge aktiviteten af et antimikrobielt middel der er effektivt over for en plantepatogen mikroorganisme omfattende at anvende det antimikrobielle middel med et chelateringsmiddel; hvor det antimikrobielle middel er som defineret i krav 1.
10. Anvendelse ifølge krav 1, hvor mikroorganismen er en plantepatogen bakterie.
11. Anvendelse ifølge krav 10, hvor bakterien er en patogen art fra en af følgende slægter: Pseudomonas, Erwinia og Streptomyces.
12. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 8 eller 9, hvor mikroorganismen er en plantepatogen bakterie.
