Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.キチン結合性植物蛋白質の共通システイン/グリシンドメインを含むアミ ノ酸配列を有し、かつ下記よりなる群から選はれる特性のうち少なくとも1つを 備えた抗微生物性蛋白質: (a)キチン結合性植物蛋白質より実質的に良好な、植物病原性真菌に対抗する 活性; (b)キチン結合性植物蛋白質より高い、酸性アミノ酸に対する塩基性アミノ酸 の比率; (c)植物病原性真菌に対する分節菌体分枝を生じる活性。 2.実質的に図4または図11に示されるアミノ酸配列を有する、請求項1に 記載の抗微生物性蛋白質。 3.オリゴマーであり、かつ実質的に図4または図11に示されるアミノ酸配 列を有する少なくとも1つのポリペプチドを含む、請求項1に記載の蛋白質。 4.純粋な蛋白質Ca−AMP1である、請求項1に記載の蛋白質。 5.純粋な蛋白質Bm−AMP1である、請求項1に記載の蛋白質。 6.植物の種子から単離しうる、請求項1に記載の蛋白質。 7.トウガラシ属(Capsicum)の種子、コバンソウ属(Briza) の種子、カタポジウム属(Catapodium)の種子、バプティシア属(B aptisia )の種子、ミクロセンシス属(Microsensis)の種子 、ヒエンソウ属(Delphinium)の種子よりなる群から選ばれる種子か ら単離しうる、請求項6に記載の蛋白質。 8.合成によるものである、請求項1に記載の蛋白質。 9.組換えDNAの発現により製造される、請求項1に記載の蛋白質。 10.請求項1−9のいずれか1項に記載の蛋白質を含有する組成物。 11.請求項1−7のいずれか1項に記載の蛋白質をコードする、組換えDN A配列。 12.cDNAである、請求項11に記載のDNA配列。 13.ゲノム、DNAである、請求項11に記載のDNA配列。 14.植物ゲノムから単離された、請求項11に記載のDNA配列。 15.プロモーター配列を含む、請求項14に記載のDNA配列。 16.請求項1−7のいずれか1項に記載の蛋白質をコードする遺伝子から得 られるプロモーター配列。 17.請求項11に記載のDNA配列を含むベクター。 18.コードされる蛋白質が発現する状態で請求項11に記載の組換えDNA を含む生物系。 19.微生物である、請求項18に記載の生物系。 20.植物である、請求項18に記載の生物系。 21.請求項11に記載の組換えDNAにより形質転換された植物。 22.組換えDNAがCa-AMP1をコードする、請求項21に記載の植物 。 23.組換えDNAがBm-AMP1をコードする、請求項21に記載の植物 。 24.請求項21−23のいずれか1項に記載の植物の種子および子孫。 25.請求項1−9のいずれか1項に記載の蛋白質に暴露することを含む、真 菌または細菌と対抗する方法。 26.請求項10に記載の組成物に暴露することを含む、請求項25に記載の 方法。 27.請求項1−7のいずれか1項に記載の蛋白質を含有する有機材料から該 蛋白質を得るための抽出方法であって、該有機材料をマセレーションおよび溶剤 抽出することを含む方法。 28.蛋白質が次いで遠心分離、クロマトグラフィーおよび透析により精製さ れる、請求項27に記載の抽出方法。 29.有機材料がトウガラシ属(Capsicum)の種子、コバンソウ属(Briza )の種子、カタポジウム属(Catapodium)の種子、バプテ ィシア属(Baptisia)の種子、ミクロセンシス属(Microsens is )の種子、ヒエンソウ属(Delphinium)の種子よりなる群から選 ばれる種子を含む、請求項27に記載の抽出方法。 30.有機材料が請求項18に記載の生物系を含む、請求項27に記載の抽出 方法。 31.請求項1−7のいずれか1項に記載の蛋白質を製造する方法であって、 蛋白質の化学合成を含む方法。 32.請求項1−7のいずれか1項に記載の蛋白質を製造する方法であって、 該蛋白質をコードする組換えDNA配列の発現を含む方法。
