Claims (25)
1. En proces til konvertering af slam til et brændstof omfattende trinnene: tilvejebringelse af slam omfattende celler og celleforbundet vand; udøvelse af tilstrækkeligt tryk på slammen for at bevare likviditet; opvarmning af slammen under tryk til en første temperatur tilstrækkelig til at nedbryde cellerne til at danne en gylle af nedbrudte slamceller; opvarmning af slammen til en anden temperatur tilstrækkelig til at udvikle kuldioxid fra slammen og danne en forkulningsgylle omfattende forkullede, nedbrudte slamceller; afkøling af forkulningsgylle af forkullede, nedbrudte slamceller til en temperatur tæt på omgivelsestemperaturen, mens forkulningsgyllen bevares under et tilstrækkeligt tryk for at undgå fordampning; trykbegrænsning af den afkølede forkulningsgylle af forkullede, nedbrudte slamceller til et nominelt tryk over det atmosfæriske tryk for at danne en flydende forkulningsgylle; separering af kuldioxid fra den flydende forkulningsgylle, og fjernelse af mindst en del af vandet fra den flydende forkulningsgylle for at tilvejebringe et mindst delvist afvandet slamprodukt af nedbrudte celler.
2. En proces ifølge krav 1, omfattende modtagelse af slam fra flere kilder, hvor slammen omfatter en første slamtilførsel, som er mere fortyndet, og en anden slamtilførsel, som er mere tyktflydende, og blanding af den mere fortyndede første slamtilførsel med den mere tyktflydende anden slamtilførsel for at få en slamtilførsel, som bedre kan pumpes.
3. En proces ifølge krav 3, hvor fjernelse af mindst en del af vandet tilvejebringer et mindst delvist afvandet kulprodukt, og omfatter, at kulproduktet reagerer med en gas omfattende oxygen for at konvertere dets brændstofværdi til en termisk energi, og derudover omfattende mindst et af trinnene, at den termiske energi anvendes og brændstoffet forbrændes.
4. En proces ifølge krav 1, hvor trinnet med udøvelse af tilstrækkeligt tryk omfatter tilvejebringelse afen pumpe, og hvor forstærkerpumper tilvejebringes nedstrømsfor at reducere pumpens krævede stagnationstryk.
5. En proces ifølge krav 1, hvor trinnet med udøvelse af tilstrækkeligt tryk omfatter tilvejebringelse af en pumpe, og hvor frit vand fra trinnet med fjernelse recirkuleres til trinnet med tilvejebringelse for at reducere pumpens krævede stagnationstryk.
6. En proces ifølge krav 3, hvor trinnet med fjernelse af mindst en del af vandet omfatter fjernelse af vandopløselige bestanddele fra forkulningsgyllen.
7. En proces ifølge krav 1, hvor trinnet med fjernelse af mindst en del af vandet derudover omfatter trinnet med fjernelse af frit vand fra mindst en af slammen og det delvist afvandede produkt som damp, hvorved der fremstilles et tørret produkt.
8. En proces ifølge krav 7, hvor det tørrede produkt er et tørret kulprodukt, og omfattende blanding af det tørrede kulprodukt med en brændstofolie for at danne en kul-olie-blanding.
9. En proces ifølge krav 7, omfattende blanding af forkulningsgyllen med en brændstofolie for at danne en kul-olie-blanding.
10. En proces ifølge krav 1, hvor det mindst delvist afvandede slamprodukt af nedbrudte celler er et kulprodukt.
11. En proces ifølge krav 10, derudover omfattende transport af kulproduktet til et kemisk anlæg og konvertering af kulproduktet til mindst et af en syntesegas, olie, oxiderede forbindelser, kulfibre, gødningsadditiver og kombinationer deraf.
12. En proces ifølge krav 1, hvor trinnet med fjernelse derudover omfatter genanvendelse af mindst en del af vandet til trinnet med tilvejebringelse.
13. En proces ifølge krav 10, derudover omfattende forbehandling af vand fjernet fra forkulningsgyllen.
14. En proces ifølge krav 13, hvor forbehandling af mindst en del af vandet danner en metangas.
15. En proces ifølge krav 13, inklusive genanvendelse af mindst en del af det forbehandlede vand til trinnet med tilvejebringelse.
16. En proces ifølge krav 13, derudover omfattende tilføjelse af et chelatdannende middel til vandet fjernet fra forkulningsgyllen.
17. En proces ifølge krav 1, derudover omfattende tilføjelse af mindst en af vand, varme, damp og en kombination deraf til slammen før trinnet med tilføjelse af tilstrækkeligt tryk på slammen.
18. En proces ifølge krav 1, omfattende mindst en af formaling og klipning af slammen før trinnet med tilføjelse af tilstrækkeligt tryk på slammen.
19. En proces ifølge krav 1, omfattende at si slammen før trinnet med tilføjelse af tilstrækkeligt tryk på slammen.
20. En proces ifølge krav 1, derudover omfattende mindst en af køling af gyllen før trykbegrænsning og køling af gyllen efter trykbegrænsning.
21. En proces ifølge krav 20, hvor trinnet med afkøling sker før trinnet med trykbegrænsning.
22. En proces ifølge krav 1, hvor trinnet med separering af kuldioxid derudover omfatter mindst et af trinnene: isolering af kuldioxid i mindst en afjord og et stort vandlegeme; rensning og anvendelse af kuldioxid for mindst en af karbonisering af drikkevarer, tryktilførsel af brandslukkere, spraydåsedrivgas, kølemiddel og iner beskyttelsesgas; anvendelse af kuldioxid som et blandbart flydemiddel til en tertiær oliegenindvinding; og kombinationer deraf.
23. En proces ifølge krav 3, hvor produceret aske anvendes i mindst en af cementovne, byggematerialer, kompost eller gødningsprodukt.
24. En proces ifølge krav 1, hvor opvarmning omfatter damp som et varmemedium.
25. En proces ifølge krav 1, hvor svovl indeholdt i kuldioxidgassen genereres i trinnet med separering, og inklusive fjernelse af svovl med emissionsbeskyttelsesudstyr.
