Opfindelsen angår et apparat til formning og indsætning af et indvendigt låg i en rørformet beholder, hvilket apparat er af den i krav l*s indledning nærmere angivne art.
Et apparat af den ovenfor angivne art kendes fra beskrivelsen 5 til svensk patentansøgning nr. 8105334-0. Denne ansøgning omhandler et apparat, hvori trykorganet er anbragt i en ret betydelig afstand fra stemplets underside og dermed også fra lågets plane del under indsvejsningen af låget, mens den udvidelige ring bestod af en ring med rektangulært tværsnit, 10 som derfor ved sin ydre omkreds havde en ikke ubetydelig trykflade. I virkeligheden var denne ring fast vulkaniseret til trykfladerne på over- og underhalvdelene i pressestemplet.
Når en sådan ring udvides ved sammenpresning af stempeldelene, danner den en ret stor anlægsflade mod lågets flanger, og på 15 det pågældende tidspunkt var dette også hensigten. Af den-i ansøgningens fig. 2, 3 og 6 viste udformning af trykringe fremgår det da også, at man den gang ønskede en ret bred kontaktflade i ret stor afstand fra lågets plane del.
Det viste sig.imidlertid gennem omfattende forsøg, at behol-20 dere, der var fremstillet ved hjælp af pressestempler med denne udformning med presseringe, gav et utilfredsstillende resultat, eftersom beholderne, ofte blev utætte. Forsøg på at undgå utætheder ved at forøge pressetrykket og/eller gøre anlægsfladen større gav ikke noget resultat.
25 Efter omfattende undersøgelser viste det sig derpå, at man slet ikke burde forøge pressetrykket eller gøre anlægsfladen større, men i stedet for tilstræbe a) et forholdsvis lavt pressetryk, b) en lille, smal trykanlægsflade og 30 c) en trykanlægsflade, der låser så tæt ved lågets bundplan eller plane del som muligt.
For at et sådant virkeligt godt resultat skulle kunne opnås, viste det sig, at et apparat af den generelle art, der er 2

vist i ovennævnte tidligere svenske patentansøgning nr, 8105334-0 skal opfylde et antal betingelser. Først og fremmest skal beholderen ikke have sådanne koniske områder, som vises og beskrives i den tidligere ansøgning, idet disse 5 områder skal være helt eller næsten cylindriske (altså helt eller næsten parallelle med aksen). Af endnu større betydning er udformningen af stemplet og her navnlig organerne til at tilvejebringe den smalle og lavtliggende tryklinie, der er beskrevet under henvisning til fig. 5 og 6 tilhørende 10 nærværende beskrivelse. Stemplet skal bl.a. opfylde følgende specifikke betingelser: - ekspansionsorganet skal udgøres af en særskilt trykring, - stemplets nedre del skal have en lav underkant, - den nævnte underkant skal hælde udad og nedad, 15 - stemplets øvre del skal have en rendeformet bundflade, og - den rendeformede bundflade skal være lavere ved sin ydre end ved indre omkreds.
Kun ved at udforme apparatet på denne måde opnås den tilsigtede virkning, og samtlige fem betingelser skal være opfyldt.
20 Apparatet ifølge opfindelsen er i erkendelse heraf udformet til opfyldelse af de fem ovenfor nævnte betingelser, således som disse kommer til udtryk i krav l's kendetegnende del.
Ved denne udformning opnås, at låget kan anbringes og fastsvejses praktisk taget hvorsomhelst langs med beholderrørets 25 inderside og uden risiko for, at pressestemplet bevirker et for lavt eller et for højt tryk mellem lågflangen og beholderrøret, og således, at svejsesømmen kan anbringes meget tæt ved lågflangens bunddel, hvor folderne og rynkerne er mindst. Derved bliver apparatet væsentligt enklere end 30 tidligere kendte apparater af den her omhandlede art, og der opnås i særdeleshed en betydeligt forbedret sikkerhed mod lækage mellem beholderen Og låget.
Opfindelsen skal i det følgende forklares nærmere under hen-

3 visning til tegningen, idet fig. 1 i perspektiv viser en færdig beholder, der er fremstillet ved hjælp af et apparat ifølge opfindelsen, fig. 2 er et aksialsnit gennem den i fig. 1 viste beholder, 5 fig. 3 viser et apparat ifølge opfindelsen, set fra siden og delvis i snit, fig. 4 er et aksialsnit gennem pressestemplet i det i fig. 3 viste apparat, fig. 5 er et delsnit i' forstørret målestok gennem det i fig.
10 3 og 4 viste pressestempel under indføring af låget i beholderens indre, og fig. 6 viser det samme som fig. 5, men med de pågældende dele i svejsestillingen.
En emballagegenstand eller beholder, der er fremstillet ved 15 hjælp af apparatet ifølge opfindelsen, omfatter et beholdersvøb 1 af pap eller karton eller et lignende stift materiale, fremstillet fra et plant materialeemne, som er blevet sammenføjet ved en langsgående søm 2, idet der i den øverste del af svøbet 1 er anbragt et indvendigt låg 3 og i den nederste 20 del en tilsvarende indvendig bund. I det viste udførelses-eksempel er beholderens øvre kant 4 ombertlet indad til dannelse af en jævn og glat ende på beholderen# der dækker lågets kant og afstiver beholderen ved begge ender. I det viste tilfælde er beholderen cirkulærcylindrisk, men det vil være ind-25 lysende, at beholderen kan udformes med en hvilken som helst polygonal eller anden tværsnitsform under forudsætning af, at polygonens hjørner er afrundede. Låget og bunden er fremstillet ud fra et plant, udstanset emne 5, som inden det presses ned i eller i forbindelse med beholdersvøbet 1, for-30 mes til dannelse af en plan endebund 6 og en herfra aksialt forløbende rundtgående lågflange 7, der kan ses i fig. 5 og 6. Som nævnt i det foregående er det ønskeligt, at lågflangen 7 er så lav som muligt, både for at formindske materialespildet mindst muligt og for at udnytte det størst mulige 35 rumfang af beholderen. Eftersom svejseforbindelsen mellem lågflangen 7 og beholderens indvendige overflade er anbragt så tæt ved lågets endebund 6 som muligt, kan lågflangen 7 ud formes lavere end hvad der tidligere har været muligt, uden at tætningen af beholderen herved forringes.

Det i fig. 3 viste apparat omfatter en holder 8 til at holde 5 beholdersvøbet 1,medens låget formes og fastsvejses til bé-holderen. Holderen 8 har i alt væsentligt den samme indre form som den ydre form af svøbet 1, men den er forneden udformet med en styrekonus 9 med henblik på at gøre det lettere at indføre svøbet 1 fra undersiden af holderen 8. Holderen 8 10 omfatter også et ringformet svejseværktøj 10, fortrinvis bestående af en ring til overføring af højfrekvensvarme eller ultralydvarme til lågets svejsesamling og/eller beholdersvøbet. For at give den del af beholdersvøbet 1, der er beliggende ovenfor svejseværktøjet 10, mulighed for at udvide sig en 15 smule under svejseoperationen, er svejseværktøjet 10 fortrinsvis svagt konisk udvidet opadtil under dannelse af en konus 11, der er meget lidt udpræget og næppe kan ses med det blotte Øje, idet konusvinklen kan være 2-6°. Fra overkanten af svejseværktøjet 10 og i opadgående retning er holderen 8 udvidet 20 til dannelse af et cylindrisk rum 12, hvis omkreds flugter med overkanten af svejseværktøjet 10. Til dannelse af en stopkant, der bestemmer den højeste stilling af beholdersvøbet 1 i holderen 8, kan det cylindriste rum 12 opadtil- være begrænset af én brystflade.
25 Oven på holderen 8 er der monteret et 1ågformeværktøj, der omfatter en med en boring udformet støtteskive 13, hvorpå lågemnet 5 anbringes, og under støtteskiven 13 er der anbragt en formeskive 14 med afrundet overkant 15. For at gøre det muligt at tilvejebringe den rundtgående lågflange 7 skal lågemnet 5 30 være en smule større end det indvendige areal af svøbet 1, og boringen i støtteskiven 13 være tilsvarende større. Det skal her bemærkes, at låget også kan formes ved at presses direkte ind i svøbet, hvorved støtteskiven og formeskiven kan være inkluderet.

Værktøjet omfatter også et pressestempel 16 og organer til at bevæge dette op og ned med henblik på at forme låget og trykke dette ned i beholdersvøbet og til at udvide pressestemplets ekspansionsorgan i forbindelse med svejseoperatio-5 nen. Bevægeorganet 17 for pressestemplet 16 er fortrinsvis en hydraulisk eller pneumatisk cylinder eller et hvilket som helst andet kendt bevægeorgan. Pressestemplet 16 omfatter en nedre del 18, der også bærer ekspansionsorganet 19, samt en øvre del 20, der er anbragt omkring en skaftdel på den nedre • 10 del 18. Pressestemplet 16's nedre del 18 og øvre del 20 kan bevæges aksialt i forhold til hinanden, og de er således udformede, at ekspansionsorganet 19udvides, når de bevæges hen imod hinanden, idet ekspansionsorganet 19 er således anbragt, at der fremkommer en presseoverflade så tæt ved overgangen 15 mellem lågflangen 7 og endebunden 6 som muligt.
Til dette formål er pressestemplet 16's nedre del 18 udformet med en meget tynd pressekant 21, der hælder udad og nedad, således som det bedst kan ses i fig. 5 og 6. I den nedre del 18 er der også udformet en rille 22, der strækker-sig i nogen 20 afstand radialt ind i den nedre del, og hvis form svarer til formen af ekspansionsorganet 19 i dettes ikke-udvidede tilstand. Ekspansionsorganet består fortrinsvis af en ring 23 af gummi eller et hvilket som helst andet egnet elastisk materiale, og som følge heraf har rillen 22 en delcirkulær tværsnits-25 form. Rillen 22 kan have en sådan udstrækning, at den indesluttet mellem 90 og 160° af gummiringen 23. Forneden går rillen 22 umiddelbart over i den udad og nedad hældende skråflade 24 på pressekanten 21. Den udvendige diameter på pressekanten 21 er så meget mindre end den indvendige diameter i beholdersvøbet 1, 30 at låget 3 med let glidende pasning kan skydes ned i beholdersvøbet 1. Forskellen mellem den udvendige diameter på pressekanten 21 og den indvendige diameter i svøbet 1 bør således svare til det dobbelte af lågmaterialets tykkelse plus et spillerum på mellem 0,5 og 1%. Den øvre del 20 kan bevæges 35 uden på den nedre del 18 med let glidende pasning, og dens udvendige diameter bør være en smule større end den udvendige 6

diameter af pressekanten 21. Den øvre del 20 ender forneden i en rendeformet underkant 25, hvis størrelse svarer til eller er større end diameteren af gummiringen 23. Den rende-formede underkant 25 bør have en sådan udformning, at når 5 gummiringen 23 sammenpresses, ligger dennes ydre tryklinie 26 så lavt som muligt, og til dette formål er den rendeformede underkant 25 lavere ved ydersiden end ved indersiden af pressestemplets 16 øvre del 20.
Som nævnt i det foregående er der i holderen udformet en 10 nedre styrekonus 9, og svejseværktøjet 10 har en opadrettet konus 11, der går umiddelbart over i det udvidede cylindriske rum 12. De koniske dele af holderen 8 er meget små. X et praktisk udførelseseksempel på værktøjet, der er bestemt til fremstilling af en cirkelrund bægerformet beholder af pap 15 med en indvendig diameter på 72,6 mm, har holderen 8 en styrekonus 9 med en vinkel på 7°, og svejseværktøjet 10, hvis højde er 3,8 mm, er udformet med en opad divergerende konus 11 med en vinkel på 3°, hvorved der i det udvidede cylindriske rum 12 fremkommer et spillerum på ca. 0,2 mm. Ved en praktisk 20 udøvelse·af opfindelsen fremstilledes en beholder med det samme materiale i svøbet og låget, hvilket materiale var pap med en belægning af et laminat af aluminium og svejsbar poly-ethylen på den side, der skulle vende indad i beholderen. Materialets samlede tykkelse var 0,5 mm, beholderen havde en 25 indvendig diameter på 72,6 mm, og pressekantens udvendige diameter var 71,2 mm, således at der udover det dobbelte af materialets tykkelse fremkom et spillerum på 0,4 mm. Den udvendige diameter på den øvre del 20 var dannet uden spillerum og var derfor 71,6 mm.
30 Efter at beholdersvøbet 1 er blevet indført i holderen 8, presses stemplet 16 nedad, hvorved lågemnet 5 formes mod den afrundede overkant 15 på formeskiven 14, således at låget 3 dannes med en opadrettet flange 7. Pressestemplet 16 føres nedad gennem en forudbestemt afstand, der er således bereg-35 net, at gummiringen 23's presseoverflade ligger direkte ud 7

for det ringformede svejseværktøj 10. I den sammenpressede tilstand danner gummiringen 23 en næsten lineær presseoverflade 26 lige ud for svejseværktøjet 10. Efter tilførsel af varme i svejseværktøjet 10 udvides gummiringen 23 ved bevæ-5 gelse af pressestemplet 16's to dele 18 og 20 mod hinanden, hvorved de svejsbare lag på beholdersvøbet 1 og låget 3 sammensmeltes. Smeltet materiale har mulighed for af'krybe" både nedad og opad, og den del af beholdersvøbet 1 og lågflangen 7, der er beliggende ovenfor det ringformede svejse-10 værktøj 10, har mulighed for at udvide sig en smule til opnåelse af en automatisk regulering af disse deles indbyrdes berøringstryk. Selve svejseprocessen tager kun ca. 1 sekund, og efter at den er tilendebragt, bevæges pressestemplet 16's øverste del 20 tilbage fra stemplets nedre del 18, hvorved 15 gummiringen 23 genantager sin cirkulære tværsnitsform med ringens yderside liggende inden for en flade i fortsættelse af yderfladen 20, og pressestemplet 16 trækkes tilbage for at være klar til en ny arbejdscyklus.
Som det bedst kan ses af fig. 6, ligger gummiringen 23's yder-20 ste trykflade 26 meget tæt ved endebunden 6 og i hovedsagen lige ud for svejseværktøjet 10. Under svejseoperationen vil plastlaget på låget smelte sammen med plastlaget på svøbet, og nogle dele af de svejsbare plastlag presses opad og nedad til dannelse af fortykkede dele 27 og 28 af plastmateriale, 25 der bidrager til dannelse af en god tætning mellem låget og svøbet. Efter sammensvejsningen af låget og svøbet ombertles den øvre kant 4 indad som vist i fig. 1 og 2.

Claims (10)

1. Apparat til formning og indsætning af et ind vendigt låg i en rørformet beholder og til dannelse af en forseglingsforbindelse mellem låget og beholderrørets 5 indvendige overflade ved svejsning med konstant varme, højfrekvens eller ultralyd, hvilket apparat omfatter a) en holder (8) til at holde beholderrøret (1), medens låget (6,7) indføres og fastsvejses i rørets indre, b) et over holderen (8) anbragt støtteorgan (13) til 10 positionsindstilling af et plant, udstanset lågemne (5) med en større udvendig omkreds end beholderrørets indvendige omkreds, og c) et stempel (16) til at presse lågemnet (5) ind i beholderrøret (1) under samtidig opadgående foldning af 15 en flange (7) på lågemnet (5), hvilket stempel (16) består, af en nedre del (18) og en øvre del (20) og et mellem disse dele anbragt ekspansionsorgan (19), idet stemplets øvre del (20) er aksialt forskydeligt uden på den nedre del (18) hen mod og bort fra trykberøring med ekspansionsorganet 20 (19), hvorved dette i upåvirket tilstand holdes i en stil ling ved eller indenfor stempeldelenes (18,20) ydre omkreds, medens det ved stempeldelenes (18,20) aksiale bevægelse hen mod hinanden sammenpresses således, at det udvider sig radialt udad, 25 kendetegnet ved, d) at ekspansionsorganet (19) udgøres af en særskilt trykring (23) af elastisk materiale, e) at stemplets (16) nedre del (18) nedadtil er udformet med en rundtgående, tynd pressekant (21) , hvis overside 30 (24) hælder udad og nedad til dannelse af en trykflade for den udvidelige trykring (23), og f) at den øvre del (20) på sin underside er udformet med en rendeformet bundflade (25), som er lavere ved sin ydre omkreds end ved sin indre omkreds, idet 35 g) indretningen er en sådan, at trykringen (23) ved sammenpresning mellem stemplets nedre del (18) og øvre del (20) udvider sig således, at den kommer til anlæg (ved 26) imod 9 DK 152978B lågflangen· (7) i nærheden af overgangen fra denne til lågets plane del (6).
2. Apparat ifølge krav 1, kendetegnet ved, at der i stemplets (16) nedre del (18) er udformet en 5 i' tværsnit bueformet rille (22) , hvis nederste rand umiddelbart overgår i den nedad og udad hældende overflade (24), og hvis krumningsradius i alt væsentligt svarer til den elastiske trykrings (23) radius i ikke-sammenpresset tilstand .
3. Apparat ifølge krav 1 eller 2, kendeteg net ved, at stemplets øvre del (20) har en noget kortere ydre omkreds end pressekanten (21) på stemplets nedre del (18).
4. Apparat ifølge krav 1, kendetegnet ved, 15 at organerne til udførelse af svejsning ved konstant varme, højfrekvens eller ultralyd omfatter et svejseværktøj (10) i form af en metalring (10), der er anbragt i holderen (8) i alt væsentligt på samme plan som den linie, der udgør den udvidelige trykrings (23) tryklinie (26), når stemplets (16) 20 øvre del (20) og nedre del (18) trykkes mod hinanden.
5. Apparat ifølge et eller flere af kravene 1-4, kendetegnet ved, at både holderen (8) og stemplet (16) geometrisk set har i alt væsentligt cylindriske sideflader, således at svejsetrykket i alt væsentligt udeluk- 25 kende frembringes af ekspansionsorganet (19) inden for det af holderens (8) svejseværktøj (10) afgrænsede område.
6. Apparat ifølge krav 4,kendetegnet ved, at svejseringen (10) udvider sig konisk opad under en vinkel på ca. 2-6°, idet der i holderen (8) over svejseringen 30 (10) er udformet et hulrum, der stemmer overens med svejse ringens største omkreds. 10 DK 152978B
7. Apparat ifølge krav 4/kendetegnet ved, at der i holderen (8) er udformet et hulrum/ som ovenfor svejseringen (10) er en smule bredere end den ydre omkreds af det beholderrør (1), der skal endeforsegles, fortrinsvis 5 0,5-1% bredere.
8. Apparat ifølge et eller flere af kravene 4-6, kendetegnet ved, at svejseringens (10) underkant er beliggende ved eller en smule over endebundens (6) øvre overflade.
9. Apparat ifølge et eller flere af kravene 5-8, kendetegnet ved, at der ved den øvre ende af det i holderen (8) udformede, udvidede cylindriske rum (12) er udformet en brystflade, der bestemmer den øverste stilling af beholderrøret (1) i holderen (8).
10. Apparat ifølge et eller flere af kravene 5-8, kendetegnet ved, at holderen (8) er således udformet, at overkanten på beholderrøret (1) i dettes fuldt indførte stilling ligger i samme plan som holderens (8) overkant eller i en lille afstand over denne, således at 20 det ud fra et plant udstanset lågemne (5) formede låg (6,7) formes med en rundtgående, opadbøjet; flange (7), som drives umiddelbart ned i beholderrøret (1).
