Claims (19)
1. Isoleret eller rekombinant nukleinsyre omfattende (i) en nukleinsyresekvens som afbildet i fig. 6; eller (ii) nukleinsyre der koder for aminosyresekvensen ifølge fig. 8; eller (iii) nukleinsyre der koder for et polypeptid med en aminosyresekvens der er mindst 82% identisk med aminosyresekvensen ifølge fig. 8, omfattende et LRR-domæne og som er egnet til at tilvejebringe resistens mod en Phytophthora-infektion når den inkorporeres og udtrykkes i en plante eller plantecelle.
2. Nukleinsyren ifølge krav 1, hvilken nukleinsyre koder for et genprodukt der er egnet til at tilvejebringe et medlem af Solanaceae-familien med resistens mod et Phytophthora-patogen.
3. Nukleinsyren ifølge krav 2, hvor medlemmet af So/anaceae-familien er S. tuberosum.
4. Vektor omfattende en nukleinsyre ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 3.
5. Værtscelle omfattende en vektor ifølge krav 4 eller transformeret med nukleinsyren ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 3.
6. Værtscelle ifølge krav 5, hvor den kodende sekvens der tilvejebringer resistens mod Phytophtora-infektion er under kontrol af en heterolog promotor.
7. Cellen ifølge krav 5 eller 6 er en plantecelle.
8. Cellen ifølge krav 7, hvor planten er et medlem af So/anaceae-familien.
9. Cellen ifølge krav 8, hvor planten er Solarium tuberosum eller Lycopersicon esculentum.
10. Plante omfattende en celle ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 5 til 9.
11. Del afledt fra en plante ifølge krav 10, omfattende en værtscelle ifølge kravene 5 til 9.
12. Del ifølge krav 11 omfattende en knold eller en frugt, fortrinsvis en kartoffelknold eller en tomatfrugt.
13. Aflægger af en plante ifølge krav 10, omfattende en værtscelle ifølge kravene 5 til 9.
14. Proteinøst substans der kodes af en nukleinsyre ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 3.
15. Anvendelse af en nukleinsyre ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 3 eller af en vektor ifølge krav 4 eller en celle ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 5 til 9 eller en substans ifølge krav 14 i en fremgangsmåde til at tilvejebringe en plante eller dens aflægger resistens mod en Phytophthora-infection.
16. Anvendelse ifølge krav 15 hvor Phytophthora omfatter Phytophthora infestans.
17. Anvendelse ifølge krav 15 eller 16, hvor planten omfatters, tuberosum.
18. Fremgangsmåde til at tilvejebringe en plante eller dens aflægger resistens mod en Phytophthora-infektion omfattende at tilvejebringe planten eller del deraf med en nukleinsyre ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 3 eller af en vektor ifølge krav 4 eller en celle ifølge kravene 5 til 9 eller en substans ifølge krav 14.
19. Fremgangsmåde til at udvælge en plante eller plantemateriale eller aflægger deraf for dens modtagelighed eller resistens over for en Phytophthora-infektion omfattende en testning af mindst en del af planten eller plantematerialet eller afkom deraf for tilstedeværelsen eller fraværet af en nukleinsyre ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 3.
