Ouerwellen ein ringsum geschlossener glatter Rippenteil verbleibt. Auf diese Weise kommt in die
Teile der Querrippen, die um die Durchtrittsöffnungen herum liegen, eine größere Steifigkeit hinein,
die der Erhaltung des Flächenkontaktes zwischen den Heizröhren und den Querrippen bei Temperaturschwankungen
zugute kommt, ohne daß die erforderliche Elastizität der Querrippen in der Längsrichtung, die von den Querwellen ausgeht,
beeinträchtigt würde. Außerdem wird durch diese Ausgestaltung der Gesamtwärme-Übertragungskoeffizient
gegenüber dem Bekannten verbessert.
Es sind Querrippen bekannt, deren Wellen sternförmig und radial zur Öffnungsmitte verlaufen und
die auch mit Querwellen versehen sind. Diese bekannten Querrippen sind jedoch lediglich für einrohrige
Heizkörper vorgesehen, bei denen ein Ausgleich von Längenänderungen in der Längsrichtung
der Querrippe infolge von Temperaturschwankungen nicht notwendig ist. Die Wirkung der bekannten
Querwellen als Längenausgleichsmittel wird daher bei den bekannten Querrippen auch dadurch
wieder aufgehoben, daß diese Querwellen zu einer Ringwelle ergänzt sind, die entweder kreisförmig
