Description
Leaf catcher in rain waste pipes For draining the water from gutters it is known to be very cumbersome that the drain pipe and possibly existing pits are blocked or silted up by falling leaves. Man has therefore been clogging the downpipes or silting up for a long time Tried to prevent the pits by leaf catchers at the drainage point of the Gutters are used. Difficulty cleaning the leaf catcher on top of the roof makes, you have in the downpipe frustoconical, downwardly tapering leaf catchers built-in. To empty, empty the device you have to open the cleaning opening of the Push up the sliding tube that closes the leaf catcher, the one between the standpipe .and Remove the leaf catcher from the downpipe, tip it over and reinsert it. This work is cumbersome and uncomfortable because the leaf catcher through sand and Dirt particles are usually firmly clamped and can only be removed with difficulty.
The invention aims to simplify this work in that the downpipe at the lower end on its side facing away from the building wall one Has cylinder hoof-shaped recess and with its remaining, the building wall facing jacket section directly on the standpipe or _ on one of the leaf catchers containing intermediate pipe piece is placed.
To clean the leaf catcher, the push tube is pushed up, whereby the opening of the downpipe with the leaf catcher located in its lower end is exposed. The leaves can now fall directly to the ground without first, as with the known ones Orders to be fetched by means of an insert. The rear connection between the downpipe and standpipe prevents soiling of the building wall.
In a particular embodiment of the invention, the leaf catcher has at its lower end an opening angle of about 180 to 27o °, while the thrust tube can be provided with a cutout that becomes smaller towards the top.
It has also proven to be useful between the leaf catcher and to arrange an intermediate pipe section on the standpipe, its connection point with the standpipe is preferably covered with a cap.
It has also proven to be beneficial to place the leaf catcher's foot in to accommodate a leaf catcher shell, the downpipe and / or the push pipe and / or the intermediate pipe section can serve as a support.
To make the removal of the fallen leaves even easier, can the in a known manner as a sieve, wire mesh or the like. Trained leaf catcher be convex upwards, the upper edge of the leaf catcher shell being essentially lies below the upwardly convex part of the leaf catcher. -The inventive Leaf catcher device has the further advantage that the leaf catcher does not can be clogged by leaves and dirt as easily as the well-known leaf catchers. While the well-known leaf catchers, due to their concave shape, stick the D.urrchläßöffnungen For favoring the water, the convex shape of the invention works. Leaf catcher against sticking through leaves and dirt, and the impurities can be remove by simply wiping off to the side ..
In the figure, an embodiment of the invention is schematically shown and described below, without the invention, however, on this Embodiment should be limited.
Between the downpipe i protruding from the roof and the one in then Drain leading standpipe 2 is an intermediate pipe section 3, which is against the Standpipe 2 with a cap q. is covered. In the intermediate pipe section 3 is the Leaf catcher shell 5 used, in which the leaf catcher foot 6 sits. On the leaf catcher truss the actual leaf catcher 7 is attached. It can come from a sieve, from wires, as shown in the figure, or the like: exist and is expedient so upwards arched so that the deepest part of its arch is not below the upper edge of the leaf catcher bowl 5 lies. The leaf catcher is covered by a tubular sleeve that narrows towards the top 8, which is connected to the downpipe i by the push pipe 9.
The downcomer has i at its lower end with which it rests on the leaf trap shell 5, a ii upwardly diminishing recess, the amount of - the lower shell portion io about i8o to 270 ° is at an angle of inclination of the recess ir of about qo to 70 °, depending on the diameter of the downpipe i.
If the leaves now fall into the downpipe i, it remains on the leaf catcher 7 while the water flows through the standpipe 2.
To clean the leaf catcher, you only need the push tube 9, the can be provided with handles on the outside for this purpose, to slide upwards, until the recess i i is exposed. The thrust tube 9 remains there due to its friction hang on the downpipe i. Then you can see the leaves that have collected over the leaf catcher 7 and simply push the dirt down to the side and forwards, with which the cleaning is finished. The push tube 9 is then pulled down again.
Die erfindungsgemäße Vorrichtung ist einfach in der Herstellung und leicht zu. bedienen, insbesondere braucht sie keinerlei Scharniere und Verschraubungen, die die Herstellung verteuern und die Bedienung durch Verschmutzung oder Einrosten erschweren könnten, und verhindert durch den rückseitigen Mantelabschnitt io des Fallrohres die Verschmutzung der Gebäudewand 12.The device according to the invention is simple to manufacture and easy to. operate, in particular it does not need any hinges or screws, which make the production more expensive and the operation due to soiling or rusting could complicate, and prevented by the rear jacket section io des Downpipe the pollution of the building wall 12.
It is convenient to turn the device into a convenient place for cleaning To be installed near the ground 13.
The thrust tube 9 can also be designed to be rotatable about its axis and with be provided one of the recess i i corresponding cutout, so that each according to the rotational position of the thrust tube, the cutouts complement or cover each other.
