Description
SchienenfahrzeugRail vehicle
The invention relates to a rail vehicle with a double wall, which is constructed from an outer skin and a spaced inner skin and in which insulating material is introduced into the space defined thereby.
Bei der TropfbarkeitskiasseThe movement of a rail vehicle along the tracks is inevitably associated with a not insignificant amount of noise. In order to protect the occupants as best as possible, sound-insulating materials are inserted between the walls made up of the inner and outer skin. At the same time, heat-insulating properties are required to simplify the air conditioning of the vehicle interior. In addition, for safety reasons, the insulation material used must meet certain requirements that largely suppress the occurrence and spread of fires. For these reasons, the German industrial standard DIN 5510 Part 2 stipulates that the insulation material inserted into the double wall must belong to the flammability class S4, the smoke development class SR2 and the dripping class ST2. The flammability class is determined using a defined arrangement that is also reproduced in the DIN. The smoke development class SR2 results in an integral light attenuation of less than 50%. The dripping class
Alle Fahrzeuge müssen aus Gründen der Zulassung den in der vorgenannten DIN Vorschrift niedergelegten Sicherheitsstandards entsprechen.ST2 the material either does not fall or drip at all or at least does not burn. For approval purposes, all vehicles must comply with the safety standards laid down in the aforementioned DIN regulation.
In the current state of the art, multi-layered material on a PVC basis is often inserted as a slatted fabric between the inner and outer skin of the double wall. A disadvantage is that crackling noises occur due to the multi-layer structure of the material. In addition, the PVC material, which is made in several corrugated layers and adjoins one another at certain points, including gaps, is problematic in terms of disposal. On the one hand, the material is largely non-rotting, and on the other hand, the propellant gases used have an environmentally harmful effect. In an alternative, the gap is filled with rock wool or glass wool. The decisive disadvantage here is the carcinogenic effect due to the formation of carcinogenic dust during cutting. In addition, there is the lack of recyclability.
Based on this, the invention has set itself the task of creating a new type of structure for the double wall on rail vehicles, consisting of an inner and outer skin, which meets the required sound and thermal insulation as well as fire behavior.
• ··
This problem is solved by the insulation material having a body made of foam or fiber material as a core, which is surrounded on all sides and flatly by a lamination made of fabric or fleece or foil, whereby the lamination material has at least flammability class S4, at least smoke development class SR2 and at least dripping class ST2.
A core is inserted between the inner and outer skin of the wall, the surface of which is surrounded on all sides by a laminated material in the form of a fabric or fleece.
This can be either cold or hot foam and is manufactured as block or molded foam. The core provides high sound and thermal insulation, but is otherwise not capable of providing the required fire behavior. By applying a lamination of appropriate material, the fire protection behavior required for the integral material can be achieved. The physical structure, whether it is a fabric, a fleece or a film, is basically arbitrary within the scope of the invention. The only requirement is the lack of flammability, i.e. a sufficiently high flammability class of at least S4, a smoke development class of at least SR2 and a drip class of at least ST2 (all in accordance with DIN 5510 Part 2).
The result is an insulation material that meets the required fire protection requirements and is able to provide a high level of sound and heat insulation while at the same time being easy to process and later dispose of.
In order to take recycling into account, the core is made from a flake composite foam for the sensible use of old foam materials. Foam waste can be disposed of in this way.
20Of the materials mentioned, the use of flexible polyurethane foam is recommended for the core. It can be easily adapted to the spatial conditions within the double wall within a wide range. High tolerances in cutting are therefore possible.
20
Another option recommends the use of EPS (expanded polystyrene) foam.
30Polyester and/or natural fibers that are bonded together by needling or thermal treatment can be used as the material for the fiber material. If a fiber material is bonded together only by needling, it is called a fleece.
30
Dessen Befestigung auf dem Kern ist grundsätz-To ensure the required flammability class, the core is surrounded on all sides by the lamination material. Its attachment to the core is fundamentally
lieh beliebig. However, full-surface bonding is recommended. Otherwise there is a great risk that the lamination will come loose in certain spots, which will be the first to ignite in the event of a fire or during a flammability test.
Of course, adhesives must be used that do not significantly impair or worsen fire behavior. The recommended solution here is to use a dispersion adhesive based on natural latex.
darf. Andernfalls würde das Brandverhalten wesentlich verschlechtert.
20Furthermore, the adhesive should have a sufficiently high heat resistance, ie a heat resistance of 90 0 C for six hours, which means that the lamination must not come off under these conditions. Otherwise the fire behaviour would be significantly impaired.
20
Partially carbonized polyacrylonitrile (PAN) is particularly recommended as a material for the lamination. This material is non-flammable and has a high permeability resistance, which prevents the supply of oxygen to possible sources of fire that may form in the lamination. This prevents the stabilization and spread of sources of fire.
Das vorbeschriebene Isolationsmaterial wird im Hinblick auf die vorhandenen räumlichen Dimensionen, die durch den Abstand der Doppelwandung sowie der (Spanten und Stege) dazwischen bestimmt sind, soThe insulation material described above is used in view of the existing spatial dimensions, which are determined by the distance between the double wall and the (frames and webs) in between, so

Das Isolationsmaterial ist möglicherweise alternativ hierzu senkrecht zur Wandung lose und damit nicht anliegend eingebracht, da jede Art von Verbindung der Erzeugung von Schallübertragungs- und Wärmeleitungsbrücken Anlaß geben würde.dimensioned so that it has a flexibility in the lateral aspect, i.e. it is cut laterally with excess dimensions, that allows a certain degree of flexibility and ability to adapt to the specific spatial conditions. The term "lateral" in the sense of the invention means the expansion of the insulation material perpendicular to the distance between the outer and inner skin of the double wall. Alternatively, the insulation material may be loosely inserted perpendicular to the wall and thus not flush, as any type of connection would give rise to the creation of sound transmission and heat conduction bridges.
Further details, features and advantages of the invention can be found in the following description, in which an embodiment of the invention is explained in more detail using the drawing. It shows a basic cross-sectional view of a section through the wall of a vehicle consisting of the inner and outer skin.
Dazwischen befindet sich das erfindungsgemäß vorgeschlagene Isolationsmaterial, das aus einem Kern (4) und einer oberflächlich aufgebrachtenThe double wall is essentially made up of the outer skin (1) and the inner skin (2). The space between them is limited by webs or frames (3) perpendicular to the distance between the outer skin (1) and the inner skin (2). In between is the insulation material proposed according to the invention, which consists of a core (4) and a surface-applied
The core (4) consists of a foam body that provides sound and heat insulation. The requirements with regard to fire behavior are provided by the lamination material (5) that is applied on all sides.
As can be seen from the cross-sectional view, there is a certain distance between the front side of the insulation material formed by the core (4) and lamination (5), i.e. those surfaces that face the outer (1) and inner skin (2), in order to prevent the formation of sound and thermal bridges.
The result is insulation of the double wall on rail vehicles with a high level of sound and heat insulation, while at the same time allowing easy processing and subsequent disposal of the material used.
