Wird aber das Absorbermaterial beispielsweise in die Wandverkleidung eines Fahrzeugs nur eingelegt, so wird das Absorbermaterial 1 allseitig von der Folie 3 ummantelt. Wegen der Gefahr, dass die Folie selbst brennen könnte, wird auch auf der Rückseite zwischen Folie und Absorbermaterial eine flammhemmende Beschichtung 2 vorgesehen, d. h. im gesamten Bereich, der durch die Folie abgedeckt ist. Durch die vollständige Abdeckung des Absorbermaterials kann von keiner Seite aus Öl oder Kraftstoff in das Absorbermaterial eindringen.
