Abstract
A panel system is described, from which by connecting several panels walls, floors and ceilings of rooms can be created. Each panel of the panel system has at least one connection member for connection to an adjacent panel and, viewed through its thickness, has a sandwich structure with an outer cover surface and an inner cover surface and a core layer disposed therebetween. At least one of the two cover surfaces is formed as a sandwich, such that the outer cover surface and / or the inner cover surface is formed in each case by a first, outwardly directed surface and by a second, facing the core layer surface, wherein the first, outwardly directed Area from the second, facing the core layer facing surface is spaced by a decoupling layer.
Description
The present invention relates to a panel system for creating rooms with the features of the preamble of
It is known to create walls, floors and / or ceilings and thus spaces from a panel system by connecting a corresponding number of panels. In this case, each panel of the panel system has at least one connecting element for connecting adjoining adjacent panels, wherein, as a rule, each panel of this known panel system has a sandwich-like construction over its thickness. This sandwich-type construction consists of an outer cover surface and an inner cover surface, wherein these cover surfaces are formed from a plastic or metal plate, in particular from a plate-shaped steel sheet. Between these two cover surfaces, a core layer is provided which is configured as an insulation layer, static layer or as a bonding layer for the outer cover surface with the inner cover surface. The known panels have, for example, plate-shaped outer or inner cover surfaces whose thickness varies between approximately 0.5 mm and 2 mm, while core layer thicknesses, depending on the respective function of the core layer, are usually between 25 mm and 200 mm. For example, in building construction panel systems are used in which the thicknesses of the outer and inner cover surfaces in particular vary between 0.6 mm and 1.5 mm, while typical thicknesses of the core layer are 50 mm, 80 mm, 100 mm and 120 mm. Classic panel systems for cabin construction on ships include those panels which also have as outer and inner cover surface steel sheets in the aforementioned strengths, but the thickness of the core layer is in particular between 25 mm and 50 mm.
Although the known panel systems have proven successful for years, their physical, chemical or aesthetic properties can only be varied within a narrow range, for example by varying the core layer thicknesses or by varying the material of the plate-shaped top surfaces of the panels forming the panel system ,
The present invention has for its object to provide a panel system of the type specified, by which the physical, chemical and / or aesthetic properties of the panels forming the panel system can be varied within a particularly wide range.
This object is achieved by a panel system with the characterizing features of
The panel system according to the invention, from which walls, floors and ceilings of rooms can be created by joining several panels, has, like the known panel system, at least one connecting element for connection to adjacent panels and across its thickness a sandwich-like construction with an outer cover surface and an inner cover surface and a core layer disposed therebetween. In contrast to this prior art, however, the panel system of the invention refers back to those panels in which at least one of the two top surfaces is formed as a sandwich, such that the outer top surface and / or the inner top surface each of a first, outwardly facing surface and a second surface facing the core layer, wherein the first outwardly directed surface is spaced from the second surface facing the core layer by a decoupling layer.
In other words, the panel system according to the invention is formed wholly or partly from such panels, which have a sandwich-like outer cover layer and / or a sandwich-shaped inner cover surface seen over the thickness, these specially designed cover surfaces on the thickness of the panel in turn through the core layer from each other are spaced.
The panel system according to the invention has a number of advantages due to the special design of its panels described above. This is due to the fact that the panels forming the panel system according to the invention, due to the previously described sandwich-like design for at least one of the two cover surfaces allow a high variance of the physical, chemical and aesthetic properties compared to standard panels, in which always the outer top surface and the inner top surface each consist of a single plate-shaped material.
If, for example, the outer cover surface or the inner cover surface or both cover surfaces are formed together from such a sandwich in which the outwardly facing surface of the sandwich of a thin metal plate and the second, facing the core layer surface also consists of a correspondingly thin metal plate, wherein the Metal plates are spaced apart via the decoupling layer, so can be at identical decoupling layers and at identical thicknesses of the outer and the inner Deck surfaces alone by variation of the metals, from which the first, outwardly directed and the second, facing the core layer surface are formed, set a variety of physical properties targeted and vary, as described below by way of example.
If, for example, a wall, ceiling or floor is to be created from the panel system according to the invention, which is characterized by a high thermal conductivity, then it is recommended that both the first, outwardly directed surface and the second, facing the core layer Surface of the outer and inner top surface of a good heat-conducting plate-shaped material, such as a copper sheet to make, and in particular between this plate-shaped material to provide a rather thin, thermally conductive decoupling layer, further wherein the core layer preferably has a reduced thickness.
If, on the other hand, it is desired that the space created with the panel system according to the invention should have a lower weight compared to a room constructed with the known panel system, which is particularly interesting when these spaces are used as box bodies in vehicles or cabins on ships in particular the respective first, outwardly directed surfaces and the second, facing the core layer facing surfaces of the outer and inner top surface of a thin steel sheet having a thickness in particular between 0.01 mm and 0.3 mm, wherein the between the first and second surfaces provided decoupling layer of a thin material, preferably with a thickness between 0.1 mm and 0.4 mm, consists. Here it could be surprisingly found that such a panel of the panel system according to the invention compared to a conventional panel between 15% and 30% weigh less, although both, compared panels each had top surfaces identical thickness of steel sheets and an identical total thickness.
In addition, the thermal conductivity of the panel used in the panel system according to the invention due to the sandwiched outer and inner top surface by a factor of 10 to 150 is smaller, so that it is understood that the spaces created with the panel according to the invention are particularly well insulated. Surprisingly, it was further found that when comparing the panel according to the invention with a conventional panel despite lower weight of the panel according to the invention better sound insulation properties are achieved using the panel system according to the invention, which is attributed to the fact that the sandwich-like structure of the outer top surface and the inner top surface and due to the decoupling layer, the previously mentioned sound reduction, especially in the low to medium frequencies, occurs and furthermore the reverberation time in the low to medium frequency range is measurably reduced by about 10 to 20%. Likewise, for example, by the panel system according to the invention thereby create advantageous spaces that the first, outwardly facing surface of the outer top surface is made for example of a plate-like plastic material or a plate-like composite material or corrosion-resistant stainless steel sheet, so that the relevant space to the outside is protected by the first, outwardly directed surface of the outer top surface against corrosion and environmental influences.
In comparison with the prior art mentioned at the beginning, in which a panel system is used in which the respective panel has a single outer cover surface and a single inner cover surface with a core layer arranged therebetween, the panel system according to the invention can also have panels in which the outer and inner top surface each consist of a sandwich. This makes it possible that not only in each case the material of the first, outwardly facing surfaces and the second, facing the core layer surfaces of the outer and / or inner top surface but also by varying the decoupling the properties of the panel of the panel system according to the invention and thus the Properties of the spaces created from this vary to a much greater extent and can better set to the particular requirements, as is the case with the known panel system.
This targeted and optimized setting of physical, chemical or aesthetic properties is present in the panel system according to the invention to a high degree, in the context of the present invention under aesthetic properties, in particular the shape, the color, the degree of gloss or the desired surface structure, such as the grain and / or the engraving in the form of a logo or a lettering, under physical properties, in particular the flexural rigidity, compressive strength, tensile strength, compressibility, peel strength, shear strength, surface tension, diffusion tightness, fire properties, acoustic properties Vibration characteristics, the weight, the emission of organic volatiles and the thermal insulation properties, and under chemical Properties, in particular the chemical resistance and corrosion resistance, are to be understood.
Furthermore, the term "and / or" used in the present description both additively and alternatively covers the individual elements thus linked in an enumeration, so that these elements can optionally be understood to mean "and" or "or" linked. Of course, the terms used in the singular also include the plural.
Room in the sense of the present invention comprises not only a space consisting of walls, floor and ceiling but also all sub-segments of such a room, if several panels of the panel system according to the invention are interconnected, as for example on partitions, partitions, partition walls, dining rooms in buildings or Ships or even on box bodies of vehicles or trailers, weather shelters, reception and telephone areas divided by walls or wall sections, security rooms, fire protection rooms, noise protection rooms and / or offices and lounges in production areas.
The term panel system as used herein also covers a single panel dimensioned to form, in particular, a wall, floor or ceiling of the particular room.
As already pointed out above in the panel according to the invention, each panel forming the panel system according to the invention may have such a construction that both the outer cover surface and the inner cover surface of the panel are sandwiched, and thus both the outer cover surface and the outer cover surface inner top surface each having a first, outwardly directed surface and a second, facing the core layer surface, wherein each of the first, outwardly directed surface of the second, facing the core layer surface is spaced by a decoupling layer. These two sandwich-like cover surfaces (outer cover surface and inner cover surface) are then each spaced apart by the core layer, which is arranged in particular centrally between the two cover surfaces. In this development of the panel system according to the invention, the previously described adaptability to the respective requirements, which can be represented to a particularly high degree on the space produced from the panel system according to the invention or the plurality of panels forming the respective space.
In particular, in the panel system according to the invention, the first, outwardly directed surface and / or the second, facing the core layer surface of the outer top surface and the inner top surface of the panel of a plate-shaped material and preferably of a metal plate or a plate-shaped composite material is formed. Depending on the requirements placed on the walls, floors or ceiling of the spaces created by the panel system according to the invention, panels are used for this purpose in which the first, outwardly directed surface and the second, inwardly facing the core layer surface of the outer and / or the inner top surface of the panel in particular have a thickness between 0.1 mm and 2 mm.
It is also possible to select a plastic as a plate-shaped material, the advantage of this plastic being a corresponding weight reduction of the panel. However, this embodiment of the panel provided in the panel system according to the invention is only conditionally suitable for applications in which there are no increased fire protection requirements.
Preferred metal plates forming the first outwardly directed surface and / or the second inwardly facing core layer surface of the outer cover surface and / or the inner cover surface of each panel of the panel system of the present invention include, in particular, steel plates, steel alloy plates, stainless steel plates , Aluminum plates, brass plates and / or copper plates.
A particularly suitable plate-shaped composite material comprises, in addition to a binder, in particular carbon fibers, glass fibers, Kevlar fibers, ceramic fibers and / or at least one paper layer, the aforementioned fibers also being present in the plate-like composite material, in particular as a parallel fiber or random fiber fabric, fleece, woven or knitted fabric.
The selection of the binder present in the plate-shaped composite material depends on the respective requirements imposed on the respective panel itself or on the respective surface of the upper and lower cover surface of the panel, which in its multiplicity forms the panel system according to the invention ,
If, for example, the panel system according to the invention is to be used to create spaces to which particularly high fire protection requirements are placed, then the plate-shaped composite material has in particular a non-flammable or only slightly inflammable binder, in particular water glass. If these requirements for the respective rooms are not present, then the plate-shaped composite material has a binder in particular polyester resin, vinyl ester resin, epoxy resin, melamine resin, polyurethane or phenolic resin.
A particularly suitable embodiment of the panel system according to the invention is based on such panels in which each of the first, outwardly directed surface and the second, facing the core layer surface of the outer top surface and the inner top surface of the panel consists of a steel sheet. In this embodiment of the panel system according to the invention, in particular the physical properties, preferably the bending stiffness, the compression strength, the tensile strength, the compression capacity, the weight properties, the vibration properties, the acoustic properties, the thermal insulation properties and / or the fire properties, in particular by varying the thickness of the steel sheet, The thickness of the decoupling layer and / or the nature of the decoupling layer can be varied within a wide range, so that the panel system according to the invention particularly well allows a manifold adaptation of the properties of the space produced therefrom to the respective requirements.
Preferably, each panel forming the panel system of the invention has a decoupling layer having a thickness between 0.05 mm and 5 mm.
With regard to the material, which is preferably contained as a decoupling layer in the respective panel of the panel system according to the invention, it has been found that in particular a polymeric and / or copolymeric decoupling layer of polyurethane, polyamide and / or polyether ketone meets a variety of requirements, which at the Panel system according to the invention are made by connecting a plurality of panels created space.
Quite thin decoupling layers can be created by connecting the first, outwardly directed surface with the second, facing the core layer surface of the outer top surface and the inner top surface of the panel by a suitable adhesive layer.
A preferred embodiment of the panel system according to the invention provides that in this case each panel has a plate-shaped decoupling layer of a composite material, wherein the composite material as a binder in particular water glass, polyester resin, Phenylesterharz, epoxy resin, melamine resin, polyurethane or phenolic resin and thereby incorporated carbon fibers, glass fibers, Kevlar fibers, ceramic fibers and / or at least one paper layer. Such a decoupling layer, which preferably has a thickness of between 0.1 mm and 3 mm, increases the static load capacity of the panel and further allows for weight reduction as compared to the conventional panel system.
If the panels forming the panel system according to the invention have particularly good fire properties, then each panel has a core layer of a non-combustible fiber material, in particular glass wool, rockwool, ceramic or mineral wool, wherein preferably the packing density of the above-mentioned combustible fiber material is between 80 kg / m 3 and 200 kg / m 3 , in particular between 100 kg / m 3 and 150 kg / m 3 , varies.
Depending on the field of application of the panel system according to the invention and the requirements placed on it, the thickness of the core layer also varies between 10 mm and 300 mm, with core layer thicknesses preferably between 25 mm and 50 mm being preferred when using the panel system according to the invention for erecting rooms on ships.
A further advantageous embodiment of the panel system according to the invention provides that in this case the panel has such a core layer, which consists of several layers, in particular from two to six layers. If different materials are used for the layers in this embodiment, the physical or chemical properties can additionally be further varied by means of such a modified core layer.
In a further development of the previously described embodiment of the panel system according to the invention, each panel has at least one layer of a calcium silicate board, thereby reducing the risk of fire. If a core material is provided which has two calcium silicate plates, which adjoin the second cover surface facing the core layer both in the outer cover surface and in the inner cover surface, the fire requirements of the panel are thereby further improved to a greater extent.
The compound of the outer, sandwich-shaped top surface with the inner, sandwich-shaped top surface of the plurality of panels forming the panel system according to the invention, including the core layer non-positively and / or positively, preferably by gluing, screwing, welding, clamping or by clawing In particular, the types of connection listed above to ensure a permanent connection of the outer, sandwich-like top surface with the inner, sandwich-like top surface including the core layer.
A preferred durable compound, which does not adversely affect the fire properties of the panel system according to the invention is achieved in that the second, facing the core layer surface of the outer top surface and the second, facing the core layer surface of the inner top surface of the panel each by an adhesive layer with the core layer are connected.
An increase in the strength of this adhesive bond can be achieved in that the adhesive layer is formed by a liquid adhesive which has partially penetrated into the surface of the core layer before its solidification, and which cures under pressure in particular when the second, facing the core layer surfaces abut the outer top surface and the inner top surface in the predetermined position on the core layer.
In particular, the present invention also relates to a space, preferably a cabin for a ship, wherein the space is partially and in particular made entirely of the above-described panel system according to the invention. Surprisingly, it has been found that the space according to the invention, which is used as a cabin for a ship, in particular has a lower weight and better acoustic properties compared to a cabin produced from a conventional panel system, as will be explained in detail below with reference to the exemplary embodiment ,
Furthermore, the present invention relates to a space according to the invention, in particular a cabin for a ship, wherein the space has at least one panel in which at least one of the two top surfaces is formed as a sandwich, such that the outer top surface and / or the inner top surface respectively a first outwardly directed surface is formed by a second surface facing the core layer, and the first outwardly directed surface is spaced from the second surface facing the core layer by a decoupling layer.
The embodiments described above for the panel system according to the invention apply identically or analogously also to a single panel forming the panel system according to the invention and to a space according to the invention produced therefrom.
Advantageous developments of the panel system according to the invention, a single panel and the space according to the invention are specified in the subclaims.

A typical cabin for shipbuilding with a length of 4.5 m, a width of 2.4 m and a height of 2.1 m was made once from a conventional panel system and the other from the panel system according to the invention. The conventional panel system each had an outer and inner top surface of galvanized sheet steel of 0.6 mm thickness. For the walls, mineral wool was used as the core layer, with a total wall thickness of 25 mm. The ceiling panels also had a core layer of mineral wool, with a total ceiling thickness of 40 mm.
The cab constructed with the conventional panel system weighed 596 kg, while the cab built with the panel system according to the invention weighed 496 kg. Both cabins had an identical number of panels.
The reverberation times in the low to medium frequency range of the cabins produced with the panel system according to the invention was significantly better than the reverberation time of the built with the conventional panels cabin with 0.73 seconds, which had a mean reverberation time in the low to medium frequency range of 0.84 seconds.
Both cabins had identical core material, which was mineral wool with a packing density of 150 kg / m 3 .
