Ein weiteres Merkmal der Erfindung ist darin zu erblicken, daß die Filtratzuführungsleitung, deren Eintrittsstelle sich unmittelbar über der Oberkante der Filtermasse befindet, über der Filteroberkante zugeführt ist. Die Abführung des Spülwassers erfolgt durch ein ientral angeordnetes Standrohr 12, dessen Uberlaufglocke I3 sich so hoch über der aufgeschwemmten Filtermasse befindet, daß diese nicht in den Ablauf mitgerissen werden kann.
