The purpose of the invention is to achieve a film or screen printing that avoids the intermittent continuation of frame stencils and enables continuous stencil unrolling. For this purpose, a D, ruckschäblorie, is used on the panel. unrolling, with inner squeegee provided _ Schäbonenzylinders used, its jacket from . a sheet metal template carrying the pattern with a gauze covering covering the pattern openings. So it is not only the common flat film printing stencil designed as a cylinder. This would lack the required rigidity. In contrast, in the subject matter of the invention, the sheet metal jacket of the gauze pad provides sufficient support. It is of course a prerequisite for the subject matter of the invention that the sheet metal jacket has only so many pattern openings that its strength is not too low. In the opposite case, several stencil cylinders with complementary patterns are used one after the other.

It shows Fig. I in side view and - -Fig.2 in plan view of the template cylinder;

Achslager 12 in: seinen.

Seitlich
Along the web of material fastened, for example, on a printing table, horizontally lying racks i are arranged to the side of this, on which the printing carriage rests with gears 2, 3 protruding laterally from it, the axle bearings 12 of which are in: his. Side cheeks 17 are adjustable in height: In addition, the printing carriage carries near one end of the gears 4, which in place of the gears 2; 3 engage in the racks i when; the former, raised from the latter, and near its other end are the stencil cylinder 6, which consists of a perforated sheet metal jacket, that is to say carrying the pattern openings, and a gauze jacket that is glued to this and thereby stiffened the sheet metal jacket, and which covers the pattern openings on the outside lifted wheels 2, g freely superimposed on the fabric web with the assistance of the pressure carriage weight, so it adapts to its unevenness. When the Diruek carriage is moved along the racks, the wheels 4 take the template cylinder 5 with them in the same direction of rotation via intermediate gear wheels 6 and 7 as they roll. As a result, the latter rolls off on the web of fabric, the dye that is fed to the inside of the cylinder from one side from a dye container 8 through a tube g, by means of a squeegee that rubbing down on the inside of the cylinder, through the arms ii on adjustment rails 13 Flatter or steeper can be adjusted through the pattern openings of the sheet metal jacket. and the gauze covering this is applied to the fabric web through it. Rollers arranged on the side of the print carriage cheeks: i ¢ and spring-loaded rollers 15 guide the print carriage on the inner side surfaces of the racks i. After the print carriage has moved over the web of fabric; the running wheels 2, 3, which were raised during printing, are lowered onto the racks and thus the gears 4 are lifted from the racks and the Schäblonenzylinäer 5 from the fabric. The printing carriage can then be moved freely to the next printing table without actuating the stencil cylinder. If the material web on the relevant number of printing tables is printed with one color in the manner described, the stencil cylinder is exchanged for a stencil cylinder containing a different color, which can be done by simply removing bearing covers 16. So that the different colors match exactly in the pattern, the intermeshing teeth of the wheels 7 and 6 as well as the wheels 4 and: racks i are marked before the change and put together again after the change. The axle wheels of the running wheels 3 are connected by springs ig to the spindles 18 which are intended to adjust the height of these wheels and are also mounted in the printing carriage cheeks, whereby the contact pressure of the stencil cylinder can be flexibly regulated. Instead of fixed printing tables, the device can also be used on endless conveyor belts.
