Die vorliegende Eisenbahnwagenkuppelung hat den Vorzug vor den bisher angegebenen, dafs sie einfach ist und leicht, ohne Gefahr für den Rangirer, bedient werden kann.The present railroad car coupling has the advantage over the previously indicated ones, that is it is simple and easy to operate without endangering the ranger.

Die Bedienung der Kuppelung geschieht aufserhalb der Wagen durch einen 50 cm langen Hebel a, welcher auf einer horizontalen Welle b sich befindet und oberhalb der Buffer befestigt ist. Da die letzten Kuppelungen nur bei zusammengesetzten Zügen stattfinden, nicht aber beim Rangiren, so ist die Bedienung jedenfalls eine leichtere, als bei den jetzt üblichen Kuppelungen.
