Description
The invention relates to the further development of a known device for moving Railway wagon in which a small train wagon is provided, which is on a narrow-gauge track runs between the rails of the railroad car and a device for engaging or coupling includes by railroad car.
The coupling device includes a hook for engaging the axle of the railroad car,
ίο der so ausgebildet ist, daß er aus einer Stellung, in welcher er frei unter der Achse hindurchgeht, gehoben werden kann, und der erlindungsgemäß im wesentlichen die Form eines aufrechtstehenden U hat, welches um eine quer zur Längs- richtung des Zugwagens angeordnete Achse schwenkbar ist, so daß der Haken in seiner angehobenen Stellung eine Lage einnimmt, in der der eine Schenkel unter der Achse des Eisenbahnwagens hindurchgeht, während der zweite Schenkel die Achse berührt und dabei das Kippen des Hakens in eine Stellung bewirkt, in der seine Schenkel die Achse umgreifen und in der der Haken durch eine Sperrklinke gehalten wird.ίο who is designed in such a way that he can work from a position in which it passes freely under the axis, can be lifted, and according to the invention essentially has the shape of an upright U, which is direction of the tractor arranged axis is pivotable, so that the hook is raised in its Position assumes a position in which one leg is under the axis of the railroad car goes through while the second leg touches the axis and thereby tilting the Causes hook in a position in which his legs grip around the axis and in which the Hook is held by a pawl.
A preferred embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawings.
Fig. ι ist ein Grundriß des Zugwagens, wobei einige Teile herausgebrochen sind, um die innere Anordnung der Kupplung zu zeigen;Fig. Ι is a plan view of the train carriage, with some parts broken out to the inner To show arrangement of clutch;
Fig. 2 und 3 sind Schnitte nach II-II bzw. III-III der Fig. 1;Fig. 2 and 3 are sections according to II-II and III-III of Figure 1;
Figures 4 to 6 are illustrations of some parts of Figure 2 in different, sequential forms Positions.
EinThe device shown is intended in particular to move freight cars along a standard-gauge railway track 10, which is shown on the left and right in FIG. 3. A
Narrow-gauge track 8 is attached to the sleepers of the standard-gauge track between the rails of the main track; On the rails 8 runs a small towing carriage ι, which is connected to the ropes 22 and 26, through which it can be pulled in both directions. Two identical pairs of longitudinally arranged arms 34 and 35 are pivotally mounted on a cross pin 36 of the tractor; each of these pairs carries a double hook 28. When a railroad car is to be moved, the arms 34 are pivoted so that they raise the hooks to the level of the axle of the railroad car. This is done with the help of two members 38 which are connected to the arms 34 and 35, respectively; each of these members is articulated at 40 to the associated arm and articulated at 39 to a cross head 14 which can slide in the longitudinal direction of the tractor; if the crosshead is pushed verao, it actuates the links 38, which in turn move the arms. While the main pulling cable 22 is connected to the tractor unit by a resilient buffer 24, so that a direct connection is produced in the end, the following cable 26 is attached to the crosshead 14 and therefore only indirectly connected to the frame of the tractor unit. The crosshead is, as follows, part of the hook lifting mechanism. In order to operate this, the tension of the rope 26 must be increased. This is preferably done from a remote point.
ILet us now consider the details of the construction. The frame of the towing vehicle is rectangular and consists essentially of the longitudinal members 2 and 4 and the end members 3 and 5. It runs by means of the flanged wheels 6 on the rails 8. The The rod 21 of the resilient buffer 24, to which the cable 22 is attached, passes through the end link 5 through; the rope 26 passes through a widening opening of the end link 3. Two U-irons 12 and 13 are in the longitudinal direction of the Towing car with their flanges placed vertically and facing each other, so that they form a cage-like guide for the cross head 14. At the ends of the train car are these U-irons are connected to one another by plates 16; in the lower U-iron 13 there are two stops 18 and 20 are provided, which limit the movement of the cross head 14. Everyone who Hook 28 is pivotable on the associated by means of a bolt 32 arranged in the transverse direction Arm 34 and 35 attached. Each of the hooks 28 has two legs that the rollers 42 and 44 wear; the hook 28 is normally held in a position by a spring 45 in which the roller 42 is significantly higher than the roller 44. Here he lies against a stop 46, the j is attached between the arms 34 and 35. I.
In Fig. 2, some parts of the railroad car running on the rails 10 are shown in phantom Lines indicated. If the train car is not coupled to the rail car, there are the parts in the position shown in FIG. In this position the hooks are lowered that they pass the brake rod 48, which is the lowest part of the railroad car. If the towing car is to be coupled to the railroad car, a such a voltage is applied that the crosshead 14 moves from one end of its path to the other so that the hooks assume the position shown in FIG. In this position the Rollers 44 go under the axis 30, the rollers 42, however, are raised so far that they come into engagement with the axle of the railroad car. The towing car is now pulled until the Hook touch the axis. Then the towing car is pulled even further to the right, whereby each of the hooks 28 compresses the spring 45 until the mechanism assumes the position of FIG. During this pivoting movement, the hook 28 lifts a pawl 50 which is attached to the Pin 52 is hingedly attached to arms 34 and 35. With this movement of the hook, the pawl is raised and then falls back onto a stop 55. the The pawl 50 now serves as a stop for the hook 28, holding it in such a position that both rollers 42 and 44 are at the level of the axis 30. The train car can now use the train car move in both directions. Since the hooks 28 are symmetrical to the longitudinal axis and in are arranged in the vicinity of the wagon wheels, only a small bending moment is applied to the axle 30 exercised. In order to decouple the towing car from the axle of the railroad car, the tension of the rope 26 is reduced, so that the cross head 14 under the action of the weight of the lifted Part returns to its left extreme position, with the arms 34 and 35 the position of FIG. 6 take in. During this lowering movement, the pawls 50 come with the fixed stops 56 in Engagement, whereby they are raised so far that they release the hooks 28, which then hit the stops 46 fall back. The clutch now resumes its original position in which it is free can pass under the railroad car.
