Description
B. in Photokopiervorrichtungen. The invention relates to a device for uniform illumination an area, e.g. B. in photocopiers.
In such devices it has been proposed that the light sources to be arranged directly under the lighting area. This has the disadvantage that the light is not distributed evenly enough. That can be done up to To some extent help by removing the lighting surface of the light source is made as large as possible, a large number smaller Lamps are arranged or umbrellas or mirrors are switched on. But all of these Aids are impractical and, moreover, do not give completely satisfactory results. The installation of a lighting device directly under the lighting surface has the further disadvantage that condensation may occur under certain circumstances. of water takes place on the inside of the lighting surface, reducing its transparency is decreased.
It has now been found that uniform illumination of the illuminated area can be achieved in the arrangement of the lamps in the side walls, that the lamps arranged on the side walls each two thirds of the lighting area, Immediately shine on, calculated from the opposite side. The remaining ones Differences in lighting are compensated for by indirect lighting, which caused by the light "that is in the immediate vicinity of the lamps from the Walls of the apparatus and above all. is reflected diffusely from the bottom. Around The invention continues to be able to take full advantage of this reflection of the ground characterized in that the two side screens that provide direct illumination limit the area to be illuminated, converging in the direction of the illuminated area get lost. In this way an extremely even illumination of surfaces is achieved of any dimensions achieved by the sum of the direct and indirect light.
Another advantage of the invention is that it is a great deal space-saving design allows. The invention -'is in the drawing on a photocopier for example illustrated.
In the device shown schematically, B is the illuminated area. L are the light sources that are under the opaque. Part of the box surface are arranged. F are filters and S the screens that converge on the illuminated surface and block the light emitted directly by the light sources so far that that each light source is only about two thirds of the opposite part the area B can illuminate by direct lighting. Through the one from the umbrellas Side walls and, above all, light diffusely reflected from the floor becomes a uniform Illumination of area B secured. The spaces R above the light sources can be useful as a storage space for the photosensitive paper, as a housing for the exposure clock or used to pick up other objects.
The new facility can be used in the most varied of cases for the achievement a uniform lighting application, z. B. in photocopiers with and without optics, retouching desks, devices for recording film titles as well as in general for all "purposes, where the uniform illumination of a Area is desired.
Of course, the filter F can also be interchangeable and the position and position of the light sources I. or the side panels S adjustable: a.
