Leistenteile. \-lan hat die Steifkappen der gezwick-
ten Schuhe beispielsweise schon durch Wärme-
strahlung aktiviert, jedoch muß man hierbei langsam
vorgehen, da das Oberleder sonst beschädigt wird.
Auch hat man schon vorgeschlagen, ein elektrisches
Hochfrequenzfeld zum Aktivieren der Steifkappen zu verwenden. Dabei machten sich
jedoch bisher mehrere Nachteile bemerkbar.
Machine for activating stiff caps in shoes Most shoes are known to have one
Pointed cap and a stiffening cap, and to
facilitate certain shoe manufacturing operations, such as
tip pinching and heel pinching, are
these stiff caps when they are inserted into the shoe
and usually limp during pinching.
A heat-activated fabric in the stiff caps
is through after pinching the upper part of the shoe
Heat hardened, and indeed the caps are preserved in the process
and give the shoe the shape of the appropriate
Bar parts. \ -lan has the stiff caps of the
ten shoes, for example, already through heat
radiation activated, but you have to do this slowly
proceed, otherwise the upper leather will be damaged.
An electric one has also been proposed
To use high frequency field to activate the stiff caps. However, several disadvantages have become noticeable so far. The caps were not always evenly hardened because the intensity of the field could not be evenly distributed through the space occupied by the caps, especially since the electrodes previously used to create the field cannot be used for all the various shapes of shoes of different sizes and styles were suitable. Also, the shoes could not always be quickly and easily brought into the familiar machines.
menwirkenden Elektrode hin verlaufende Ver-

1)ie in Fig. 2 111S 5 dargestellten Elektroden be-
stehen aus einer U-förmigen Elektrode 65 und einer
finit derselben zusammenwirkenden Elektrode 4o.
Die 1?lektro(le 65 hat zwei bogenförmig ausgebildete
\letallarnie 8o, die voti der Schuhspitze bis zur
Kappeunahtlinie l:ings des Schuhbodenrandteiles
verlaufen. Senl<reclite Rippen 8t, 82 sind an jedem
.\rin 8o befestigt und verlaufen längs der Schuh-
spitzenseiten. Die Oberkante jeder Rippe 82 ist bei
83 in _\np:i:stiiig an die Schubspitze nach innen tini-
gebogen (Vi(I. 2 und .4).
Blattfedern 86 liegen an plastischen Zwischen-
Kabel 9o finit dein Oszillator verbunden.
Elektrode 4o in Arbeitslage hält.
Gewöhnlich werden die Elektroden 4o, 65 durch
eine Feder 92 in Hochlage eingestellt gehalten, um
(las Einbringen von Schuhen zu erleichtern. Die
Feder 92 liegt an einem Arm eines Blockes 94
(Fig. 3) an, der mit dem Scharnier 5o verbunden
laufenden -Metallrippen 166. Jeder Arm 162 ist an
einer plastischen Trägerplatte 165 befestigt, und ein
Ansatz 161 jedes Armes ist mit dem Scharnier 5ö
befestigt. Ein Metallenker 163 (Fig. 8) und ein
Kabel 175 verbinden die Arme je miteinander und
mit dem Oszillator. Jede Rippe 166 ist mit ihrem
Arm 162 bei 168 in der Nähe der Kappentiahtlinie
verzapft und trägt ferner ein plastisches Zwischen-
stück 170 mit nach innen zeigenden Ansätzen 171,
173, die unter dem Druck von Blattfedern 172 im
Eingriff mit den Schuhseiten am Schuhspitzenende
gehalten werden und die Elektrode 16o bezüglich
des Werkstückes einstellen. Ein Block 174 ist mit
dem Scharnier 5ö verbunden und dient zum Ein-
stellen des Schuhes in der Längsrichtung der
Maschine.
bunden. Diese Zwischenstücke liegen auf der Ober-
fläche der Schuhspitze in der Nähe der Kappennaht-
linie auf. Ein Zwischenstück 136 an dem schmalen
Ende 151 der Elektrode i5o liegt an der Schuh-
spitze an.
The present invention now aims to obviate the above drawbacks and to provide a machine to be provided, in which stiff toe caps are evenly

des Werkstückes bezüglich der Elektroden. To activate heel stiff caps, electrodes 18o, 182 and a workpiece support of the type described below are arranged in a machine frame of the type described above. A rail 242 (FIG. 9) is provided on the machine head 12. Wheels 246 of a support 24: I can be moved on the rail 242. The support 244 carries a resilient strip pin 252 which engages in a bore in the strip. The bar pin 252 is made of an insulating material so that the electrical field is not unduly disturbed by the metal. Furthermore, the machine has a heel adjustment part 26o which determines the longitudinal adjustment of the shoe with respect to the electrodes and which also consists of an insulating material. When the lid of the machine is closed, an adjustment part 262 determines the height of the workpiece with respect to the electrodes.
The two electrodes 280, 282, which generate an electrical high-frequency field running perpendicular to the shoe through the heel cap of a shoe and are fed by the oscillator, are approximately U-shaped and run parallel to each other and to the shoe bottom, with one electrode at the heel end of the shoe Surrounds heel seat and the other is arranged between the heel seat and the upper end of the shoe. The electrode 280 consists of two arched arms z84 (FIG. Ii), which extend from the rear end of the shoe on both sides of the shoe heel end approximately to the heel front line and have a considerable height. Each arm 284 has a collar 286 between its ends, which is each mortised to a carrier 288. Each carrier 288 is rotatably connected to a housing 290. The two "supports 288 are swung towards each other by a spring 294 which is mounted in the housing 29o. These inward movements of the supports 288 are limited by stops 298 which are formed on the supports and which each abut at adjusting screws 3oo on the housing 29o. The housing 290 is carried by a bent rod 3o6 which is connected by a terminal 308 to a line 3o2 of the oscillator.
A leaf spring 31o is attached to each arm 284, which acts on the opposite support 288 and strives to open the arms 284 for the introduction of a shoe end. Intermediate pieces 312 are connected to the front ends of the arms 284 and finely connected to the rear ends of the same intermediate pieces 314 which engage the shoe so that a certain gap remains between the electrode 280 and your shoe. In addition, each electrode arm 282 has flanges 316 that pinch over the pinch edge portion of the shoe bottom Shoe upper lie, with extensions 318
of the flanges approximately on: @bsatzfrontlinie a
are bent.
The electrode 282 corresponds roughly to the elec-
trode 280 in Forni, and the one with electrode 280
have corresponding parts of the electrode 282
corresponding reference numbers, but with the addition
giving the mark '. The flanges 316 'extend
uniform and have no curved
extensions; the arms 28I ', on the other hand, have approximately
on the heel front line thickenings 32o (Fig. 9),
the diagonally outward (Fig. 10) and after the elec-
trode 28o. In the space in between
between the rear ends of the electrode arms 284
there is an electrode on the seam at the end of the shoe heel
322 is provided, which sits on your housing 290. the
High frequency voltage at given points of the
Electrodes increases finitely as the growing elec-
trical distance of the points from the housing
290 along the line. Preferably the
High frequency voltage on the surface of the elec-
trode 322 is about the same size or larger than the chip
on the rear ends of the Arnie 28I, and
consequently, to increase the tension is the
Electrode 322 through a coupling loop 324 with
connected to the housing 29o. For example, can
also one consisting of a plurality of loops
the conduit portion 326 (Fig. 12) can be used.
Another auxiliary electrode 328 is connected to the
housing 29ö connected by a coupling loop.
