In
beispielsweise dargestellt.Bottle filling tap According to the present innovation, the all-round
Cleaning and sterilization of filling taps containing liquid and gas paths
on filling machines, for example by steaming without removing the plug
the housing thereby allows that the chick after emptying the filling machine
is shifted axially into a so-called damping position in which the plug sealing surface,
since the chick is prevented from sagging, evenly all over the sealing surface
of the housing is lifted, openings are provided so that the through the
Cleaning and sterilizing agent supplied to the container of the filling machine
can escape outside. The axial displacement of the plug has already become known,
but it was done in such a way that the chick was lifted with each switching operation
and afterwards returned to his seat. At the filling tap after the
Invention is the axial displacement of the plug in the damping position and its
Sliding back on the sealing surface not during the shift, but after
- Termination of the operation for the purpose of cleaning and sterilization carried out,
and that it is expediently done by screwing a threaded bolt in and back,
without the clamping nut, from which the smooth turning of the plug on its sealing surface
depends, has to be removed or adjusted. The facility is in place
that if the chick is to be removed, this is not done by the spring and pressure device
needs to be separated so that when the chick is reintroduced, after
Screwing in the pressure device without further adjustment the same pressure
, on the chick is automatically restored as before removal, so that
the time-consuming adjustment of the contact pressure of the chick is avoided.
In
the drawing is an application of the inventive concept to filling taps in section
for example shown.
2 in bekannter Weise gelagert.
The plug z containing the liquid and gas paths is mounted in the housing 2 in a known manner. On the housing 2, an annular extension 3 with an internal thread is provided, into which a nipple 4 is snorted. Chick i is provided with a pin 5 with an internal thread which carries a ring 6 which can slide in the recess of the nipple 4. The spring 8 is placed between the ring 6 and the pressure nut 7, which is screwed adjustably into the nipple 4. The pressure on the plug is regulated by the position of the pressure nut 7. Ring 6 engages with its extension 9 in a groove io of the nipple 4, so that during the rotation of the plug i ring 6 stands still and spring 8 cannot be twisted or tensioned. The ring-shaped extension 3 is provided at the bottom with an opening ii through which the water or sterilizing agent can run off in the steaming position. After the filling machine has been emptied, the axial displacement of the plug i into the damping position is effected in that a threaded bolt 12 inserted through the pressure nut 7 is firmly screwed into the thread of the pin 5. By turning the nut 13 , the plug i is brought back until the ring 6 rests against the inner shoulder of the recess of the nipple. The chick cannot sag in this position and consequently cannot rest on its sealing surface, and it is avoided to form a support point on which any deposits can - be washed up. Since the chick does not have to be removed from the housing for sterilization, no infection can occur by touching it with the hand. If the chick is to be removed for inspection, after tightening the nut 1 3, the nipple q. unscrewed, with which the plug is removed i-i is the chick by screwing the nipple 4 and loosening of the nut 1 3 brought back to its seat, the same contact pressure is restored as before removal of the plug.
