Description
Eisenbahnzug Das Hauptpatent 664933 betrifft einen Eisenbahnzug, der unter Benutzung eines zweiachsigen Wagens und beliebig vieler einachsiger Wagen zusammengestellt ist. Jeder einachsige Wagen hat die Achse unterhalb des Wagenkastens in der Nähe des einen Wagenendes und stützt sich mit seinem achsfreien Ende unter Vermittlung einer tragenden Gelenkkupplung auf das mit der Achse versehene Ende des benachbarten Wagens ab. Man kann zwei solcher Züge derartig zu einem symmetrischen Doppelzug zusammenstellen, daß die Achsen der in der Zugmitte befindlichen einachsigen Wagen zu einem Jacob-Drehgestell vereinigt werden. Ordnet man nun; die Achse jeder der zwischen dem Spitzenwagen und demrEndwagen laufenden -einachsigen Wagen unter demjenigen Wagenkastenende an, welches der Zugmitte abgewendet ist (äußeres Ende des Wagenkastens), so kann man sowohl den Spitzenwagen als auch den Endwagen nach Art eines einachsigen Wagens ausbilden, indem man z. B. unter dem äußeren Ende jedes dieser beiden Wagen ein zweiachsiges Drehgestell anbringt. In diesem Falle bildet das in der Zugmitte befindliche zweiachsige Jacob-Drehgestell gewissermaßen den zweiachsigen Wagen jeder Zughälfte. . Diese im Hauptpatent erwähnte Anordnung läßt sich aber auch noch in anderer Weise verwirklichen, und zwar dadurch, daß statt des in der Zugmitte angeordneten Jacob-Drehgestells ein zweiachsiger Wagen angeordnet wird.
