Description
Adjustment device for the lens aperture of a photographic Camera The invention relates to an adjustment device for the lens aperture of a photographic camera in which the pointer of an electric light meter a number of movable stop members is controlled so that each of the Pointer deflection corresponding stop member in the path of one with the adjustment device connected counter-stop.
Devices are already known in which the adjustment path of Lens diaphragm directly through the pointer of an electric one acting as a stop Exposure meter is limited. To the extreme because of the low straightening forces In order not to damage the sensitive pointer and its bearings, the play the springy pointer over a slotted rail so that it is under the Pressure of the scanning member is based on both sides of the scanning point on the rail; included but the disadvantage remains that the pointer can withstand the pressure of the sensing element got to. According to an earlier patent, this disadvantage is avoided by the fact that the pointer plays over a series of movable stops and counteracts it by a clamping bracket one of these stops is pressed so that it is in the path of the with the diaphragm connected scanning member is moved. According to the present invention, however the stop links are moved against a slotted rail with each adjustment process, along which the pointer plays, o that, with the exception of the stop member, that hits the pointer and is thereby held in the path of the stop member will fall into the slot.
With reference to the drawings, a preferred embodiment of the Invention described.

In the illustrated embodiment of the invention, i o is a camera with a housing 1 i, a lens 12, a viewfinder 13, an iris diaphragm 14, a film 15 and a shutter 26. There is also a photoelectric in the camera Cell 17 and a millivoltmeter 18. The millivoltmeter 18 has a pointer 19 that by the electromotive supplied to the photoelectric cell Force operates wind, according to the intensity of the light present. Of the Pointer i9 rotates with relatively little play over a slotted rail 2o.
Above the pointer i 9 there are several stop levers 2 i on a fixed one Axis 22 attached. These levers are in their rest position Z in full lines in FIG shown, the other two positions which these levers can assume, are shown in Figure 2 in dashed lines and labeled X and Y.
The iris diaphragm 14 of the camera i o is made by rotating an outer sleeve 23, which has two arms 24 and 25. From Fig. I and 2 it can be seen that the stop levers 2-1-- lie in the path of the arm 25 when they are in the Y position are, on the other hand, lie outside the path of the arm 25 in the positions X and Z. Weak springs 41 hold the stop lever 21 in position X; stronger springs 28 (Fig. 4), which refer to. - Intermediate levers 27, 32 act, are provided to turn them into to push position Z, as will be explained later.
The invention is best understood from the manner in which it is used. The camera is aimed at the subject with the viewfinder 13. the Stop levers 21 are initially held in the Z position by the spring 28, see above. that the millivoltmeter pointer can play freely over the rail 20: To the recording perform, one moves the handle 29. of the slide 30 against the action. the Spring 31 down, with a pin 42 of the slide 3o initially ineffective in a Slit of the diaphragm arm 24 reaches the point 43: Meanwhile, the link 30 lifts. which at its lower end forms a cam, the cam lever 32 against the Effect of the spring 28, thereby rotating the intermediate lever 27 and thus allows the Stop levers 21, - to assume the position X according to the tension of the spring 4 i. All stop levers21 move into position X, except for the one pointing to the pointer i 9 falls. This lever is thus held in position Y so that it is in the The path of the arm 25 protrudes. With further downward movement, the member 3o rotates the diaphragm ring 23, - 24, 25 and closes the iris diaphragm 14 until the arm 25 is in the Y position stop lever 2 i is stopped: The shutter of the camera is on this Way automatically adjusted according to the illuminance of the photo cell. If now the button 33 is pressed, it moves the slider 34, which the Shutter 26 is triggered against the action of spring 35. In a motion picture camera The shutter 26: is connected to the spring motor that drives the film through the camera emotional.
Fig. 3 bis 6). The foregoing was the basic operation of the invention put into application to a camera that has a single shutter speed and in which films with the same sensitivity to light are used. It understands It goes without saying that the invention is not limited to these conditions, but rather z. B. can be applied to a camera, the three shutter speeds and in which three common types of film can be used, like a regular one panchromatic,: one over-panchromatic and one color film. To this end can the zero position of the pointer can be changed in a manner known per se. So can the millivoltmeter 18 can be mounted on a carrier 36 which is supported by a Zal-inradsegnent 3'7 can be moved, the one passing through the upper part of the camera Shaft 38 is attached (see. Fig. 3 to 6). At the top of the shaft is a button 39 attached. The v shaft 38 goes through a second adjustment knob 4o, on the one linkage 51 to 54 for adjusting the closure 26 to different Speeds is articulated. The buttons 39 and 40 both have pointers and can. can be set independently of each other as shown in Figs.
It can be seen that any rotation of the millivoltmeter i B changes the zero position of the pointer. As FIG. 5 shows, the button 39 has three marks for different layer sensitivities, and the button 40 is assigned a scale for the three different shutter speeds.
