Rotary feeder for compressed air delivery The patent 673 479 relates to a rotary feeder for the compressed air delivery of bulk goods, especially blow offset, with an axially displaceable conical star feeder, in order to adjust the different wear conditions of the star feeder, as caused by the (strong) cutting and breaking effect of the star feeder ribs the parallel edges of the filling opening on the one hand, and on the other hand due to the mere sanding effect of fine parts of the conveyed material on the parts of the star feeder located in front of and behind the filling opening, the housing or the housing sleeve is provided with recesses of this type on the parts in front of and behind the filling opening (let the edges of the cell wheel surface be machined in a plane-like manner, so that the degree of wear is the same at all points of the cell wheel circumference; which can be partially filled with a material whose strength is different from the material of the housing or the housing sleeve. The attachment of these recesses on the inner surface of the housing or the housing sleeve now makes certain difficulties in view of the fact that both the shape and the dimensions can only be finally determined in accordance with the observation during operation; this can also cause a certain discontinuity in the otherwise even movement of the cellular wheel (chatter). Finally, if the recesses are not filled, there may be an even if only temporary opportunity for the pressurized fluid to pass through the ribs.
According to the present development, these recesses are therefore now.- on your in the housing next to the filling opening. stuck part of the ribs provided, so that they come to lie on the outer surface of the cellular wheel; this makes it much easier to attach them and also to observe the grinding in from the outset. Since the closed recesses also constantly against the undivided inner wall of the housing, i. H. Equal to everywhere, start up, so a restless run and also the risk of a leak is eliminated at this point. The depth of the recesses decreases towards the point of the apex of the cone until they run out completely to the surface of the ribs. In any case, the surface of the cell wheel is designed in such a way that, in a purely passive sense, it adapts to the various wear conditions that present themselves over its length and change accordingly with (1 incorporation.
in Abb. i iin Längsschnitt, in Abb. 2"im Querschnitt wiedergegeben; Abb.
In the accompanying drawings, an embodiment of the invention is shown in Fig. 1 in longitudinal section, in Fig. 2 in cross section; Fig. 3 shows the formation of the recess in a partial view and Fig. -1 in a partial section on a larger scale.
The housing i is provided with the bushings 2 and at the top has the filling opening 4 for the bulk goods to be transported and at the bottom the 2L \ -lischraum 5, to which the compressed air used for the transport is fed through the connection 5 '. The cellular wheel 3 has the relatively narrow end walls 3 ' as a termination on the larger and smaller side of the cone. which are connected to one another by the ribs 6, 6. On the smaller side of the cone, the adaptation to the uneven wear is carried out according to claim 2 of the patent 667 263 , i. H. Here, the original fitting point of the end wall 3 'is followed by a cylindrical piece of the liner 2, so that with the gradual incorporation of the bucket wheel, a' slight conical extension occurs while maintaining the fitting and thus sealing. This training on the smaller side of the cone has in any case completely proven itself in the company, so that it is retained here because of its simplicity.
praktisch ,23 gleich. On the larger side of the cone. on the other hand follows (the cylindrical piece 7 of the liner 2 is followed by a conical piece 8 of a length as provided for the incorporation of the conical cell wheel. On the piece of the cell wheel 3 seated in this cone 8 there are now 6 recesses on the ribs 9 are provided, which run up against the narrow end 3 of the rotary valve, while they gradually run out on the surface of the ribs 6 as a result of their bottom running approximately parallel to the axis. which corresponds to a compensation of the use over the entire surface of the ribs while maintaining the seal. In the simplicity of this arrangement of the recess 9 now comes the increasingly difficult design on the larger side of the cone in its simplicity and in its effect on the smaller side of the cone According to claim: 2 of the patent 667 263 approximately practically, 23 the same.
