Erfindungsgemäß wird diese Aufgabe dadurch gelöst, daß die Nachgreifer auf einer endlosen Kette derart geführt werden, daß sie den Bogen nach dem Überlaufen des vom Stapel weiter entfernt liegenden Kettenrades erfassen und während ihres Laufes auf das dem Stapel zunächst liegende Kettenrad zwangsläufig bis zu seiner Endlage auf dem Stapel führen, wobei sie die Geschwindigkeit des Bogens in an sich bekannter Weise bis zur Horizontalgeschwindigkeit Null vermindern.
