Um bei Luftpumpen mit verticalem Cylinder zu verhindern, dafs Schmieröl in das Ventilgehäuse und weiter gedrückt wird, ist der Cylinderboden nach innen bezw. oben gewölbt, und es tritt die Luft an höchster Stelle des Bodens ein und aus. Zur möglichsten Verminderung des schädlichen Raumes ist die Form des Pumpenkolbens derjenigen des Bodens angepafst. Ferner hat der Kolben, um überhaupt das Ablaufen des Schmieröles zu vermeiden und um den Cylinder bei jedem Auf- und Niedergang selbstthätig zu ölen, eine schief eingedrehte Nuth, dazu bestimmt, ein ölansaugendes Geflecht aufzunehmen. Diese Nuth steht mit dem Raum unterhalb des Kolbens, d. h. mit der comprimirten Luft durch mehrere Kanäle in Verbindung, so dafs dieses ölgetränkte Geflecht selbstthätig an die Cylinderwand geprefst wird.

Claims (1)

  1. Patent-Anspruch:
    Eine Luftpumpe, gekennzeichnet durch einen nach oben gewölbten Cylinderboden mit Luftkanaleinmündung an höchster Stelle und durch einen Kolben, entsprechend der Cylinderbodenwölbung vertieft, mit schräg eingedrehter Nuth, welche durch Kanäle mit der comprimirten Luft unterhalb des Kolbens in Verbindung steht, und welche zur Aufnahme eines ölansaugenden Geflechtes dient, so dafs dieses Geflecht durch die comprimirte Luft selbstthätig an die Cylinderwand angeprefst wird.
