Description
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Entglänzen von Kunstseide beliebiger Art und Form, um ihr das Aussehen der Naturseide zu verleihen.The invention relates to a method for delustering artificial silk of any type and shape to give it the appearance of natural silk.
Erfmdungsgemäß wird die Kunstseide mit einer Titansalzlösung von solcher Konzentration imprägniert, daß bei der auf die Imprägnierung folgenden Zersetzung des Salzes durch Erhitzen der imprägnierten Kunstseide in oder auf dieser unlösliche Titanverbindungen in einer etwa 0,5 bis 4% TiO2 entsprechenden Menge, bezogen auf das Gewicht der Kunstseide, niedergeschlagen werden. Der hierbei angestrebte Zweck besteht jedoch darin, die Stoffe wasserabstoßend bzw. -undurchlässig, nicht schrumpfend und gegen den Angriff von Pilzen und Schimmel widerstandsfähig zu machen.
