Es ist beispielsweise bei Holz üblich, daß zunächst ein Dämpfen des Holzes stattfindet und erst nach dem Dämpfen das Trocknen' einsetzt. Während des Trockenvorgangs selbst müssen auch noch verschiedene Bedingungen eingehalten werden, so daß es bisher erforderlich war, für die verschiedenen Stufen auch verschiedene Einrichtungen zu treffen. Das Wesentliche der Erfindung liegt nun darin, daß in jeder Zone des Trockners sämtliche Einrichtungen, die für die einzelnen Vorgänge in Frage kommen, vorhanden sind, es ist also jede Stufe des Trockenkanals vollständig gleich gebaut.
