Roller dryer for veneers The invention relates to the arrangement of
Built-in components in dryers for flat material, especially for veneers, where the
Dry material is conveyed through the drying room between rotating pairs of rollers.
The installation consists in that in the spaces left free by the pairs of rollers
wedge-shaped guide bodies rising in the conveying direction are provided by
which the passage cross-section for the dry air is reduced. This built-in body
have the effect of increasing the flow velocity of the drying air.
At the same time, the material to be dried is guided between the pairs of rollers. Here
the internals are designed in such a way that they only work on the two
Ends need a support, i.e. supports in the middle to prevent sagging
do not need, they are therefore designed as stable boxes.
The dry air is moved in a circuit at right angles to the conveying direction.
It enters on one long side between the conveyor rollers: and on the opposite
Page out and describes a continuous cycle with each time rewarming
through the radiators.
It is well known that the evaporation of a certain dry pipe
a certain amount of air is required. The drying
occurs all the faster, the greater the speed this amount of air over the
Dry material is guided. However, there is one for this air speed
maximum economic limit which it would be a waste of energy to exceed.
Es müssen also unnötig große
In the known dryer of this type, in which the internals according to
of the invention are not present, is for the passage of air through the conveying path
the entire cross-section between the conveyor rollers is free. So it must be unnecessarily large
Amounts of air are circulated to a lively air admission to the veneer panels
to reach. Through the internals according to the invention, the cross section for the
Air passage covered to a large extent, so that only as much air is circulated
as is actually required for drying. Here is the free cross-section
dimensioned so that the dry air with the economically most advantageous maximum speed
flows over the veneer panels.
The drawing illustrates the subject matter of the invention in an exemplary embodiment, namely Fig. T shows part of the dryer in a vertical longitudinal section and Fig. A shows a vertical cross section through such a dryer guided in the longitudinal direction. The dry air flow is generated by a fan c and heated by radiators d. The guide installation consisting of the bodies e prevents the front edge of the veneer panel from sinking downwards, for example in the case of thinner veneers, and thereby the panel from moving downwards instead of to the opposite pair of rollers. The dry goods board moves through the built-in components through the drying room in such a way that the front edge of the veneer running through the pair of rollers is guided on the rising surface of the built-in structure below to the next pair of rollers.
